Hmm think I have got careless and missed off some topup shops, but last weeks main shop was £77.41 at Sainsb, so the big weekly one is definitely going down...must start putting my receipts somewhere to add up later and keep track better!

On the plus side I haven't thrown much out this week.

DH discovered A1di and is now getting huge tuna salads there for lunch for only £1.49. Great value. Will prob do main shop there tomorrow, after meal planning today. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Lots of nsds but went ott this week and managed to spend £78 on groceries, and on raffle prizes for the allotment open day and for a local charity I help to fund raise for.
Still well within my budget but not as much saved as I'd hoped. Better than April still, though another week before I finish the May challenge.

Popped in to update my signature. I don't get paid til 31st May, so will have to be careful this week.
DS3 and I have decided to cut down on sugar and junk for a month. We do pretty well anyway but there is room for improvement. I will just have to eat all the choc digestives before Monday. Tough, but I will cope.

Had a nice surprise in Farm F**ds yesterday - butter (salted and unsalted) at 45p - bought one for immediate use and five to pop in the freezer for future - as it seemed daft not to :)

The 4-pint milk packs are still two for a £1 so a couple of those have also gone in the freezer :)

little top-up shop done over the past few days - total of £7.20.

I will be way under budget this month, as DH appointment at the hospital cam through as a last minute op. Which I know is very lucky. Due to his operation and what he had done, he isn't able to stay at our home - is currently at his parents...therefore, I am at home, at the outlaws and at work. Minimum food buying required.

I think it will be this was for the next few months.

Today my parents have come down for a few days - I will account for any food shopping that they do. for me whilst they are here.

Hope that everyone is OK, well and happy.
