Declaring for May over budget by 41.48, still plenty left in freezer (but more bits and bobs than meals as such), may be over budget but could ha been a lot worse :rotfl::)

Final shop of May was £24.22 in Aldi although they didn't have any yeast or cucumber so I'll try Asda tomorrow. I will still be under though:j. So chuffed!
Looking forward to next month I will need to plan carefully as freezer stocks are getting a bit depleted. For now however I'm just going to enjoy having extra to put in my holiday fund:p
    What a great thread - thank you:D

Going to do an aldi shop on Sunday for some fridge bits but I'll also top up some bits for the freezer for next month too because I'm way under my May budget (£190.40/£350). That'll be the last shop of this month so I'll post my final total on the 31st.

Thanks again for the ideas everyone has shared - you've helped us so much!

    Hi all,

Spent £16.50 at Aldi yesterday, few fresh bits and pieces.

Might grab a few bits from Lidl today for BH weekend, treat DH to a nice breakfast tomorrow morning as he's been working all hours lately

Totally blown my budget. I'm starting over in June, with good intentions again.
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

£5.15 in Asda on yogurts, yeast, milk, butter, cucumber, peppers (£1 a bag and all red except one little green one - just the way we like it!).
Pay day tomorrow and final shop is done so I'm declaring at £138.26 which is under:j. I am so delighted and would never have done it without this thread. definitely in for June:)
    See you over there
