Please advice what to do on a win

hi guys looking for some advice please yesterday i received the following email,
Hi Diane,
I am pleased to announce that you are the lucky winner of our competition selected at random, Congratulations!
You now have £1000 to spend on our gorgeous Spring/Summer 16 Collections either in store or online.
Please can you acknowledge you have received this email today by replying to this email with your contact telephone number and to let me know whether you intend to spend the prize money in our shop in Tetbury or on our website – if you choose to spend online I will send you a voucher code today.

I replied straight away, but today i have received the following email

Dear Diane,
Unfortunately as you haven't contacted us yesterday - 12th April 2016 as my previous email had explained, with a contact telephone number, plus we have reason to believe your email entry isn't eligible - we have no choice but to remove you from the competition.
Regards, Amy.

I have emailed back but has yet not heard anythink, is there anything i can do about it.
Thanks for any advice.x

How disheartening, Have you got a screen shot of your sent email?

What was the reason they gave for your 'email entry isn't eligible'?

Was the competition posted on here?

Hi, did you enter it once only?

Is there any chance someone from the same address entered it too or on your behalf ?

Good luck dizzybee, hope you get your prize :)
  • I think this is outrageous.

In the rules it states "Prize winner will be notified on 4 April 2016."

They don't notify the winner until the 12th of April and then expect them to reply on the same day!
