  • Also will try my hardest to refrain from POAS, but I have got a few cheapies and FR in, just in case :)

That's the worst thing. No matter how many times you tell yourself you won't POAS until such and such a day, they're too addictive. Then the TWW is even worse cause you're squinting at a line that you can only see when you close your left eye and tilt your head to the right.

I think BFP's arrive when you least expect it, you've forgotten about the SS and are surprised 17dpo because you've been too busy to test.

So maybe go to the library and get a couple of books or paint your nails and watch them dry or clear out your handbag. The handbag thing I find very time consuming but fulfilling the amount of old receipts I throw away.

At our end I'm awaiting OV. I felt like it was gonna happen for the past 5 days or so but still nothing, but then again I am only tracking with Ovia and CM so maybe I was wrong and haven't OV'd. I just wish it would hurry up my nails are in a desperate need of a file and polish. :rotfl:

It's DD's birthday today she's 10, it's mine tomorrow and then DD1's prom on Friday so I've booked the day off to watch her get pampered. But all this going on and I'm still occupied with what's going on down there. The joys of TCC.

Midget sorry you didn't have much luck with your GP, must be v frustrating.

Cats congratulations, fantastic news!! Keeping everything crossed for a sticky bean.

    Sorry to anyone with AF.

Welcome to all the newbies, hope you're not here for too long.

Clara that's really positive news that you're oving - fx it's onwards & upwards form now on. Sorry I've no tips for surviving tww - I suck at it lol.

Well AF has done one now - it was a bit heavier than normal, but I had no PMS, no bloating, very few cramps, no cravings & no spotty skin at all, totally amazing :j :j I'm also feeling generally much healthier & happier, & I feel like I've got so much more energy. I've no idea whether it's the change in diet, acupuncture, supplements, or a combination of all 3, but whatever it is, it seems to be working for me atm. Even though it's early days, I'm hopeful (as is my acupuncturist) that my hormones are starting to sort themselves out, so fx it won't be too long before I start oving again.

    Hope everyone is well x

Clarabell - I'm now struggling as much as you for the last few days wait. Desperately just trying to assume that AF will just arrive as normal, so it's not too much of a disappointment when she does.

Angel - so glad to hear that you are feeling better and more positive about things. Fingers crossed for you that things continue in that vein.
  • No AF for me yet and no BFP, it's getting a bit emotional and stressful now especially since I have no idea what my body is doing :(. This week I've had cramps, tingling boobs and a rollercoaster of emotions (very weepy).

For those that had experienced MC, when did your period arrive afterwards? I have read online it can be up to 7 weeks, which is gonna be horrendous for TTC - how will that actually work?

    Any advice would be great.
  • Hi all,

I'm convinced AF will arrive in the next couple of days, I have had the usual cramps and have been very very weepy. I'm not sure how many more months I can do this for. I try so hard not to get my hopes up but I can't help it. I feel like such a failure and really hate myself when I feel like this It is so soul destroying :(:(:(:(

Thanks for the list as always Newthrift! Xx

Firebird - it's really difficult isn't it! I'm only 6DPO so I can see it getting worse lol I've been distracted the last day or so as we've had a bit of car trouble so the unexpected problem (and expense!) had taken my mind off the 2WW

Hubby doesn't need to work the weekend now so we have decided to clear out spare room.

AF due 21st/22nd and do not plan to test early :rotfl:
