Clara - I've used those clear blue ones for 6 months - the first or second month the same thing happened to me - flashy smiley face but didn't ever develop into solid smiley. No idea if it was me and I didnt have the right hormones that month, or if test was broken or if I was just missing the window. I think when you get flashy you can then test more than once a day.
This month the clear blue was not in sync with the cheapo ones by days (solid smiley when cheapo negative, then 4 days later cheapo ones positive)
Sorry, I realise I'm not much help - except to say, same thing happened to me. Could you test alongside clear blue with the real cheap ones you get off Internet - think I got a massive bag really cheaply...
Of course you may end up doubly confused like I was ����

Thanks Meep, feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one it's happens to!

I've been testing with the cheapie ones as well but not sure if I've been testing too Early around 12.30 as that's when I get my lunch. I find it difficult holding pee for 4 hours! Lol and always forget when I get home! That's why I got the CB ones

Yup, know what you mean about holding pee - especially as I've been trying to drink loads of water each day!!

Just booked in for some fertility tests - bloods scan and sperm ... Decided to go with the cheapest place �� Guess if there is a problem, better off knowing. Had my AMH bloods done a year ago, so be interested to see how they've changed.

Hi all, can I join in? Was hopeful last month, but AF just arrived (either late, or v early MC?), 6 days late so back to the beginning again Here's hoping for a more regular cycle this month...
