  • Any update Ariel?

I have the opposite situation! AF arrived as expected last Thursday after a 28 day cycle or so I thought. It only lasted 4 days instead of the usual 6 and 3 of the days were no more than spotting. I have had really light periods since coming off the pill but not like this so I dont know what to think!

So I did another test this morning and the line is a bit darker which is obviously good news. Remaining cautiously optimistic at the moment...

I think it must have been implantation bleeding but just really quite heavy. It was like the periods i have had for the last 3 months, reasonably light and lasting 3 days so didn't think any more of it until I still had sore boobs.

Maybe yours could be the same Ginger? Although that would be quite late for implantation? I've just thoroughly confused really. I'm away with work still (it's killing me as lots of networking with free drink, think my colleague is getting suspicious) but will buy a clear blue and take it on Friday morning I think.
  • So after my post yesterday I couldn’t shake off the thought that it wasn’t a normal period. I had a cup of tea last night and couldn’t drink it and I know a few people who’ve gone off tea while pregnant.

To stop my mind running away with itself I decided to test this morning and got a BFP (well two actually)!

I tried to think of funny ways to tell my husband later then gave in and blurted it out as soon as he woke up.

I don’t know how I’ll get through today at work pretending everything is normal!

    Ahh congratulations Ginger!

I told my husband over whatsapp, I couldn't call him but had to tell him somehow. Not quite how I imagined it either!
  • hooray! congratulations Ginger! So pleased for you!
It's interesting about the tea - I went off chocolate when I was pregnant with J - no-one told me that might happen!!

Ariel - hope you manage to keep calm until Friday!

    Hugs for everyone!!

Mine was pasta, as soon as I started retching while making spag bol, I knew.

Unfortunately it stayed with me after my last pregnancy!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
