Hang in there buttermint! Sounds really frustrating but aren't we lucky we all have each other to keep us sane!

I haven't stopped eating today and I've got a delightful breakout of spots so I've a feeling it's due to AF and not going to get my BFP this month! I found when I was on the pill I didn't have the proper PMS symptoms and I can't say I missed them lol.

Buttermint, our bodies are really frustrating! I wish I was one of these women that had AF like clockwork so you at least know where you are! My experience has made me really consider whether I will go back on to the pill if I get pregnant, as we would want to have a 2nd child after a couple of years. Or if I did maybe just for 6 months so it has plenty of time to get completely out of my system! It also makes me think that if I did happen to catch earlier than when we planned I wouldn!!!8217;t care as we!!!8217;ve had such a hard task this time!

CCJ, I also didn!!!8217;t get PMS symptoms when on the pill and have hated getting them back! Haha I get cramps really badly on CD1 now.

I have been taking ibuprofen a lot this last months due to horrid toothache (I am waiting for them to be removed). I was doing some googling last night and discovered that you shouldn!!!8217;t take ibuprofen when TTC. It says it can delay ovulation and cause miscarriage! I really didn!!!8217;t know this, but also don!!!8217;t know how I could have got through the last few weeks without ibuprofen! Although it does explain why maybe I don!!!8217;t have my static smiley yet (yep it!!!8217;s still flashing!)

Tryingin2018, how did your appointment go on Monday? Did you manage to ask any questions about your long cycle?

I know how you feel Buttermint! I was really hoping this would be a shorter cycle for me but CD47 now and no sign of AF.

I!!!8217;ve also been a bit down today. A colleague has just found out her SIL is expecting and conversation turned to babies and how long it took everyone to fall pregnant (not long or they weren!!!8217;t trying). I!!!8217;m usually quite good at not letting things get to me but I have found it difficult today.

Well I've had some spotting today so it very much looks like AF is on her way. 5 days late, just for the added fun

I think I'm going to come off the lists for a while, I really want to try and relax about TTC. So I'm going to try not tracking/charting, taking the vitamins, not worrying about having the odd drink etc and just see how we get on after a couple of months.

I do really appreciate the support I got while here. I may well come back in a few months if I feel I need to but for now I want to switch off for a bit.

Ginger, I think people aren!!!8217;t entirely honest when they talk about how long it took them to get pregnant. It seems to be bragging rights/nervous response to say !!!8216;we weren!!!8217;t even trying!!!8217; or !!!8216;we didn!!!8217;t expect to get pregnant the first month!!!8217; when you congratulate someone on their pregnancy yet no one says !!!8216;Oh thank you, it!!!8217;s taken us 1 and a half years. !!!8217; Also I suspect lots of the people that say !!!8216;we weren!!!8217;t even trying!!!8217; neglect to mention that they have used no form of contraception for 5 years, so technically it has taken them 5 years to get pregnant! Of course there are people who literally look at their OH and get pregnant but I don!!!8217;t think it is as common place as society makes out.

Buttermint, that is understandable. Baby dust to you also, and do keep us updated in a couple of months.

We are off for a few days away tomorrow to celebrate our wedding anniversary so the lists won!!!8217;t be updated for a few days (unless someone else would like to do them for me whilst I am away, which you re more than welcome to!). I am looking forward to exploring a new place with OH. Sadly I have been in a lot of pain the last two nights with my teeth, so please cross your fingers that the pain stops and we can enjoy ourselves!

Evening all. So had scan on Monday about my cyst which has grown marginally. I did ask the imaging lady if my insides looked normal. I felt very silly asking and she was really nice. She said you can't really tell much from an internal scan but I have good follicles which sounded hopeful. The fact my AF has basically disappeared raised some eyebrows so now I'm going back to the gynaecologist regardless.

At least you are getting seen Trying and hopefully they will have some answers to the MIA AF.

Well AF is due today for me, no sign of her arriving yet. However i was late last cycle so only time will tell.

We are now having to make meal choices for our Christmas do in December (how I'll know what I will fancy then is beyond me!?) the options are a chocolate mousse souffle, christmas pudding with rum sauce or a cheese board. Not even sure what I would be able to have from those if I were to be lucky and catch by then!

Does anyone feel like their two week wait gets longer every month?!
