Hi! Thanks for the lists PKK. Sorry you've been poorly, hope you're all feeling better and stay better now.
I don't really know much about chickenpox Nelliepie, sorry. Sounds like it might be best to be vaccinated to stay on the safe side if you're at all worried about it though.
Keeping my fingers crossed for some better news for you soon NancyO. Really hope AF shows up soon.
Sorry the doctors weren't helpful re the headaches selement. Do you think it's TTC related? From the stress maybe?
I had my baseline scan today so I'll start stims at the weekend. Finally feel like we're getting somewhere, but at the same time i'm scared and worried it won't work and I don't know what we'll do then.0 -
Thanks PKK, feel better soon! Here is the link to the ovulation kits trial with clear blue if anyone is interested. http://uk.clearblue.com/survey0

Been off the pill for 9 weeks now & still no AF!!
Starting to really annoy me because we just want to start trying. Is it possible I could be ovulating without having a period?
I've been using the cheap ovulation sticks every other day and they've all come back negative - I know i could be missing the ovulation on the days I don't test but think i could just be wasting alot of sticks when its possible I'm not going to ovulate before AF comes.0 -
selement - I'd say once you've passed when you normally ovulated just let me know and I'll move you over to TWW.
Slothsocks - I can imagine you must be on a rollercoaster of emotions at the moment. You must try you best to stay positive. Try not to think about the what ifs just concentrate on the current stage or each day if you need to, and what you need to be doing right now. Are you on instagram? I follow a few ladies on there for other reasons but who are TTC via IVF at the moment and they give lots of advice on how to deal with the emotions but also things you can do to try and increase your chances. They acknowledge some things may be old wives tales but no harm in giving them a go! I am feeling much better now thank you, luckily it was just a 24 hour bug!
T4Taylor - thank you! I have filled out the form so fingers crossed. I could do with £100 hahaha

Skimper, you can have a period without ovulating but not the other way round - if you ovulate, you will then have a period around 12-14 days later (unless you have an unusually short or long luteal phase). Very annoying, though. I've been off hormonal contraception for a few years as my body doesn't get on well with it, but I do remember my cycle being a bit whacky when I came off the pill. I remember having an 83-day cycle at one point!0

Cd7. Using my CV advanced fertility monitor (square one) and on second day of testing got my first high reading. Will see how long it takes to get a peak.0

I'm past the time frame I usually ovulate so I guess I'm in 2ww now. Not very hopeful as we only DTD once!
I don't think it is stress of TTC causing headaches. Work has gotten a little more stressful but honestly I don't really know why and the doctor was not helpful, basically saying it sounds like some are headaches and some are migraines and they are different things and both are common.
So they are doing nothing. I'll keep recording them but how do you define the difference between headache and migraine? Is it pain levels? Is it extra symptoms such as nausea? The important part for me is head hurts a lot so it's very frustrating they aren't doing anything.
skimper it is normal to take a long time for first period after coming off birth control, I think if it gets over 3 months it is advisable to see a doctor.
T4Taylor thanks for link I've filled in the survey so fingers crossed!
With my planned break from TTC so I can be my friends bridesmaid without being full term pregnant or having an actual new born (and lets face it not trying this month) it seems that I won't be pregnant by my 30th birthday which is a bit of shame. At least I'll be able to drink I guess! I would really like to have a child before I am 31 thoughTrying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0 -
So after my shock of a high on the monitor did a cheapy opk and got a decent line but not positive yet maybe a few days away yet. Fly to New York on Thursday as well as it being oh birthday on Thursday so potentially a busy few days!!0

I'm 11dpo now and BFN this morning. Starting to feel like AF is on her way so don't think this is our month. I'm pretty sad as (I know this is silly) if I got pregnant this month, the due date would be my birthday and it would feel 'meant to be'
I'm going to start properly charting and temping from next cycle I think. It'll make me feel like I'm 'doing' something other than peeing on sticks like a loon.
Blah. I'm still in my PJs and am going to mooch the day away eating crap and watching Netflix.0
