Had the email but haven't sent back my consent form yet. I've asked if I can do it in a couple of months instead so hopefully they'll let me

AF was due yesterday but hasn’t turned up. I’m not pregnant so it seems I didn’t ovulate when I thought. Annoyed at myself as I was really lax about OPKs and didn’t do any temping to verify, and we also have barely had sex since FW as I’ve had a virus or something. I’ve no idea when I did ovulate, hopefully only a couple of days later as I want AF to arrive now! Going to properly temp this cycle as well as use my new Clearblue monitor.

Sending good vibes to everyone else!
  • AF came, not a suprise really as I!!!8217;ve got spotty and was eating everything in sight last night.
Can!!!8217;t go to my wedding dress fitting as it's an hour and a half away and the snow is too bad here in Suffolk.
So I think it!!!8217;s a day of wallowing under a blanket.
Hope everyone else is ok and AF stays away.
Stay safe in the snow xx

Oh munchkin, that's a bit rubbish.

Fingers crossed for everyone in TWW. I'm just waiting on AF now, last time I came off the pill I was really lucky that I just went straight back to a 28 day cycle, this time I thought was the same as I got my first period exactly 28 days after stopping the pill. But clearly not, CD31 and counting! If it doesn't appear today/ tomorrow then I can't try again until May, which is a bit poop. I sort of feel like I'm going to come on, very bloated but my ibs isn't playing up like it normally does immediately pre AF.

So OH wants to book a holiday for my birthday in early May but I'm due to be on my period then I think. Has anyone tried that hormone pill that can delay periods? If I took it a month early would it change my cycle from then on to be a different part of the month Or after it is delayed do you get a short cycle?

I took Norethisterone last year and honestly it was awful (although perhaps I just reacted badly). I got horrendous cramps like I was getting my period without any bleeding, so bad that I stopped taking it after a few days as the whole point was to avoid being sore. I then got my period a week or so later and it was extremely heavy and painful. My OH has begged me never to take them again as they made me so unwell! When I googled, there were loads of other complaints from women who had same symptoms :( But I am quite sensitive to hormones in general so maybe I was just unlucky. I will never ever take it again, though. It was truly horrific.
  • Hello everyone,

    I'm back...

I hope everyone is okay and doing as well as they can.
The snow is terrible where I am (County Durham) but I've made it in to work.

AF is due on the 9th of March so I believe I am currently in the 2WW.

    Good luck to all :)

    Welcome back HappyLassie!

No sign of AF yet so I obviously didn't ovulate when I thought. I had some pains around what I thought was 9dpo so I'm wondering if that's actually when I ovulated. Either way, we clearly missed the boat time-wise this month so I just want AF to appear so we can embark on a new cycle!
