Aww, that's lovely @afoolandhermoney! Everything crossed for you to have a healthy and happy nine months. I've thought about the telling people thing before and think I would tell anyone whose support I would need if the worst happened (so best friend, my mum) and keep the rest until 12 week scan. Bless your OH for being so worried. Mine is totally oblivious to anything like that. It drives me batty sometimes!
Not sure it's good news my end - after a couple of days of very slightly darker lines, they've now faded to almost imperceptible and today I've started having quite bad cramps (AF isn't due for a few days) although no bleeding yet. I'm wondering if it has perhaps been a chemical pregnancyFeel quite gutted and unwell today mentally and physically but I know these things happen so will just wallow for a few days and then get back on it.

thanks @celepie, OH drives me batty with his worrying I know its just because he cares but sometimes I wish he'd relax a bit more. Hope you've just got a duff test and that all is wellMFiT challenge #60

Afoolandhermoney – bless your OH being so worried. I have been told the lack of checking at Doctors by friends before. I find this really strange! No wonder so many people continue to do tests to make sure! Are you ready to go onto the graduate list?
Celepie – I’m sorry to hear your lines aren’t showing what we all hoped for you
Brown spotting has started today. I have had this on a couple of cycles prior to AF. My only concern is that it is already CD33. My longest cycle since I’ve started tracking has been 34, which was two cycles ago, so I’m concerned that this cycle might end up at 35 days. I want them to be consistent and get shorter not longer hahaha
On a happier note… it is nearly the weekend!0 -
HI all,
Like many before me I was once a long time lurker and am now ready to join in (although maybe not go on the lists just yet). Just a bit of info my partner and I are getting married in May and were going to wait until after then to come off contraception but we're both broody and feel 'ready'. So off came the last patch on Monday and CD1 started today as expected.
We'll be NPNT until the wedding and just see what happens and how my cycles are after 10 years on one form of contraception or another. I was going to wait until we were properly trying to join in but I hope you don't mind me being a bit early.
Good luck to all! And congratulations to AF&HMLittle One born 19/12/18

Hi nelliepie were in the same boat. Getting married in March and came off the pill late dec. Still waiting for my first AF to show. We're not trying just yet want to get my hen party and wedding out the way but wanted to be in a position where we could start straight away.0

Welcome NelliePie. I joined the thread for a couple of months before we started officially trying too. There is SO much to learn about your own body and cycle and this thread has been invaluable to do that for me. Everyone is so lovely. Congratulations on the wedding, we have been married 6 months this weekend - I wish we could do it all over again!0

Thanks for the warm welcome
And congrats on the recent and upcoming weddings.
I've definitely learned a thing or two over the few months I've been lurking. Our wedding is 14 weeks away and I've been reading online that a bump starts growing from around week 12 so even if we do get pregnant straight away I won't need to worry too much about dress alterations.
Sorry of this is TIM but I've been on patches for a few years now and loved them - regular as clockwork, 4 day period followed by 1 day light spotting. This period is the regular patch-free week so I'm expecting the usual... it's what follows I'm a little anxious for as I haven't had a natural period in so long and when I did they weren't particularly regular. I guess I'll just have to wait and see...Little One born 19/12/18

Welcome NelliePie:)
Everyone is different but if it's reassuring at all I think mine are more regular now than before I went on the pill... although it's early days yet!Trying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0 -
Joining. Been on the forum, mainly lurking for years.
Been married six months. Came off Microgynon 30/Rigevidon after 13 years!! on 6th Jan. Withdrawal bleed 13th - 18th. Believe I ovulated on 23rd (24 hours of cramps on right hand side ) and now waiting. DTD on 21/22/23rd so hoping I at least timed it right.
As its first time TTC and off pill, I have no idea what to expect - nor do I remember what it was like before I went on the pill!
Just need somewhere to post. Tried OPKS for first time, heard mixed reviews on internet about not working for everyone. Hubby thinks I'm mad to be even considering them this early. Also tracking on the Ovia app in the hope to start seeing a pattern in cycles. Desperate to talk to people about it but nobody to talk to so here seemed appropriate.0
