  • Thanks Chelle x
  • TomaTomaH, best of luck with your journey, and I'm sorry about the inconsiderate people who have been prying.

I don't know anything about surrogacy, but maybe join this forum too?, as it has a surrogacy group:
    https://community.babycentre.co.uk/groups/a2368785

Hope everyone is keeping well, wishing some more babydust to this group.
  • Just plodding along Chelle but thanks for asking. Nothing different is happening than it normally does tbh. Since the MC I usually have sore b00bies from OV to when AF which is a bit of an annoyance. CM is slightly more abundant but trying not to read too much in to that.

I vaguely recall having 21 day bloods done when TTC DD Munchkin I wasn't fully clued up at the time but I'm fairly certain it's to see if you are OVing as there is a change in, I think progesterone (but don't swear me to that) if you have OV'd.

Any advice on trying for a baby?

We've been trying (or rather not being careful) for nearly a year now. I struggle to perform at the prime few days, which adds stress but my wife now knows when her ovulation days are. Despite her efforts to hide it, I can tell and it all goes a bit rubbish :(

Welcome anotheruser, the pressure can definitely be tough. I think the important thing is to try and relax (easier said than done, I know!) and try to keep it fun. Maybe try some things to spice it up a bit? Or try a new position, new room in the house, anything to make it less mundane.

    (TMI warning)
OK ladies, I'm freaking out. I'm CD 53, not at all unusual for me. But for the last few days I've had some brown when I wipe, and Tuesday there was a little pink. However, there is nothing more. Just little bits when I wipe. My AF never starts this slowly. Could this be implantation bleeding? I'm too scared to test! Also thought we were completely out this month, so I must have OV'ed later than I thought

Welcome to the thread anotheruser. I think that Mrs Nubs gives very good advice, try to focus on the enjoyment of it rather than the practicalities of what you are trying to achieve, take the pressure off. Good luck!

Mrs Nubs that sounds possible. When were you expecting AF to arrive? Fingers crossed, keep us posted!
  • Hello, all.

I'm new to this thread and was hoping it would be ok to join in. A little about me and our situation...

My husband and I have been TTC since we married in 2015. Due to a thyroid disease (for me) that went undiagnosed for 5 years, my fertility has been impacted and we are currently TTC using 'clomid'. If this doesn't work, we will be progressed to other treatments. My husband has Rhumatoid Arthritis and stopped taking his medication 6 months before the wedding so we could 'get straight on it' (his medication can be bad to foetuses hence stopping). So...me having unexpected fertility issues is causing him to be in pain for much longer. Luckily he is amazing about it.

Today is CD5 and day 4/5 taking clomid this cycle. This is our third cycle using the drug.

Hope everyone is ok and their journeys going well x

Chelle it's so hard to say as my cycles are all over the place. Today is CD53, my last 3 cycles have been 45, 53 and 65 days, so this is right in the middle. Today I've also had some tummy issues, feel starving hungry all the time, even though I've eaten loads and also have a bit of a tummy ache. Think I'll test tomorrow with FMU
