Zeni I'm glad AF is almost gone and your fertile time fits in well with hubby :) Good luck!

LKRDN_Morgan how are things today? Funnily enough I seem to have exactly the same as you today, tiny specs of red and a tiny bit of pink discharge. I do have quite bad cramping though so I think AF is on its way a couple of days early :( Hope its better news for you though. Unless I'm sure AF has arrived I'm going to test tomorrow morning as I have my fertility massage tomorrow so would be good to know either way before I go.

    Hope everyone else is ok.

Hope all is well with everybody.

Just an update on my situation: finally managed to persuade my doctor to blood test me early. She was very reluctant to and made me feel like a real nuisance to be honest. Low and behold, blood tests came back negative. So I guess that's my final answer :(:(:(

I still don't understand why it's happened but let's just hope AF shows her ugly mug at some point. Just want to get it over and done with now. I'm upset, even though I know I shouldn't be really because it's very early days, but here's hoping it'll resolve itself or be easy to sort.
  • AF arrived
Not feeling too bad though surprisingly enough. I messed up on ovulation timings so I'm going to be all over it this month. Staying positive :)

Sorry the witch got you LKRDN_Morgan, glad you are feeling positive and good luck with BDing next month. I know what you mean, I used to find the wait exciting but now I just want AF to arrive so I can get on with trying again next month.

Katey I am sorry the news was not what you wanted to hear. The ups and downs of this journey are hard enough without the added stress you are having. Hopefully now that has given you an answer that will help you to relax and help AF come along, I hope it does so quickly and that your circle returns to normal.

    Thank you Chelle x

Another update as my actual doctor called me not long after I posted here (I had just got my blood result from the receptionist before) - this just keeps getting weirder and weirder...

Apparently my tests are "technically not positive" but my HCG level is 6. So now I have to go back in in 2 days for another blood test to see if there are "any changes". Huh.

So now I'm trying not to spend my evening googling this lol... But has anyone else heard of this? What an odd start to TTC this first month + 2 weeks is turning out to be...

How very strange.... Not something I have ever heard of I'm afraid so can offer no advice. Did the Doctor say anything else? Hope you get more answers in 2 days time, sounds like it was a good thing you pushed for those bloods!

A HCG level of 5 or less is considered not pregnant so I can understand why they're being cautious if you're just above the level. I'm sure it's common knowledge around here that HCG levels double every couple of days when pg which is why they're asking you to go back soon. If you are pg it will be rising.

I've had similar issues and in my last pg my first blood test was a HCG level of 48 and then a week later was 901.
