Hi everyone

Having a bit of a meltdown and unsure what to do...apart from wait it out! Sorry there may be TMI ahead...

I'm a day late, which is unusual. I've had brown spotting since the weekend and earlier I had a bit of a pink tinge on wiping (nothing since) and it feels like I have a UTI. I had similar symptoms in February and AF did show but it was not late. I am always 28/29 days and I am day 30 today.

BFNs on FRER tests. I have one more test for tomorrow morning (supermarket brand).

If AF doesn't arrive tomorrow and I'm still BFN, should I contact GP or the fertility clinic I am under? I don't want to waste time but I'm going a bit mad worrying that my damaged tube could mean I am at risk of ectopic pregnancy and allsorts (stupid google)

Rachy- if you think you have a UTI, contact your GP (could do it this evening if you are local). They may be able to do a urine dip and phone consultation if no appointments.

I don't know about being late, is there any chance your investigations could lengthen your cycle? Mention it to your GP when you speak to them about UTI, but I guess if she's not turned up by end of the week or so (I know that seems forever away) you could call the fertility clinic for advice.

I don't think I have a UTI, more that I have that kind of feeling down below (sorry :eek:). I do get it most months around AF so I think it's now a symptom of mine. Probs a sign that this is actually AF to be honest.

I'm no longer undergoing investigation. I had some bloods done 2 weeks ago which is the last stage before IVF referral. Also, my last AF arrived bang on time following the lap and dye, which makes me think my cycle has not been affected at all.

It is just going to take time and patience I guess. Sigh

Well I think posting here made my body decide to make a decision (always the case isn't it?). Bit of red blood now along with backache so I think the witch has arrived.

Oh well, I don't expect pregnancy these days now but being late with no symptoms does still give me that little bit of hope

Thanks Penguingirl. Sometimes I think I'm doing really well then other days I feel consumed with sadness.

It will be a year ago this weekend I got my BFP, I remember it as if it were yesterday. Cannot quite understand where this year has gone
