Kirstypoos, I could barely feel the needles going in at all, just a little !!!!!. They are surgical needles so very fine. I just closed my eyes too for good measure but definitely didn't have any pain xx

I closed my eyes the whole time too, in however many appointments I don't think I ever saw the needles in me! But no didn't hurt and very quickly got used to it. It is a slightly odd sensation though as you need to keep still, but my therapist said some people get so used to it they get up and about whilst they're in...!

    Hi all

Just checking in. Recovered from laparoscopy. Get the results next week. It's back to normal TTC now.

Lily-Rose - I am worried that we will be told all fine and just to try for longer. Forgive me for not reading back and trying to find your info, but how old are you and how long have you been TTC? I am 36 and TTC for 14 months but had a pregnancy & MMC during that time so for a few cycles we obvs weren't trying. Also just lost a cycle because of my op

I'm another one who tells OH everything too. We make jokes about getting to it at the right time. Hopefully it doesn't feel like a chore :rotfl:

Kirstypoos let us know how it goes, I'm very curious never thought of trying it before!

AF1 for me. Knew it was coming but still a bit disappointed. Ah well to the next month :)

I had a huge temp dip this morning so I know what is coming either this afternoon or evening :( I knew we hadn't exactly 'hit' the right days this month but it doesn't stop a little seed of hope being planted.

I'm looking forward to Saturday, I've been liaising with the acupuncturist for a few weeks and she seems really nice, if a little blunt! She seems quite pleased that I'm already charting BBT as she said that's normally something she gets people to do during their first month of treatment. Yay for being ahead of the game for once :o

She is recommended by the fertility clinic at our local womens hospital so I think that's a good sign :)
