That's amazing news pinkpetal - there must be something in the water this month. Long may it continue!

Thanks for the info re timings after peak / high readings. My cycle is always about 28-33 days and no idea what causes it to change month to month. I will just keep going with the OPKs and I'm still reading the sperm meets egg plan .....

With my first pregnancy Rachy I was one of those people that didn't know I was pregnant. We had been trying for a while and me and DH had pretty much given up hope that I was ever gonna get pregnant. It was a friends engagement party and I because I hadn't drank in a while and was feeling sorry for myself I let go and drank a bottle of wine. 3 days later I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant. Gutted and worried is an understatment (about the wine not the baby) Both the midwife and doctor weren't worried. Didnt effect my pregnancy or baby at all. Just limit your consumption from this point on especially if you also drink cola and chocolate xxx

I think BD every other day around OV time is something we might try. Might help us relax as well I think. That is once I know when i OV. Still using OPKs to help work this out. Something that isn't helping us at the moment is tiredness. We are in the process of selling our house so if we aren't working then we are viewing houses and if we aren't viewing houses then we are having viewings on our house. A part of me thinks DH is right when he says we should wait. Then a big part of me doesn't want to wait because who knows if and when our house will sell.

Congrats on all the bfp's!!!

Not much been going on here, hence being quiet, though I'm now 1dpo, I think.

Really not looking forward to this tww, as I know I'll be gutted if the spotting and cramping starts again. I did a lot of research at the end of my last cycle and due to that I've been taking maca root and omega 3 in a veign attempt to balance my hormones. Not sure what I'll do if they don't help!

Def give it a try, the relaxed approach certainly worked for us! Do you temp? I think that might be the only way to work out if you actually ov...positive opks can't tell you that for certain.

fab to see more bfp's! congratulations!!!!!!!

I also think there's something in the water as I think (only think!!!!) that I saw a faint line on my stick this morning!!!!!!
I only say think as I was in a massive rush for work so put the test on the side (it looked negative) and before I ran out the door I was about to chuck it in the bin and I swear there was a shadow of a line!
Id tested yesterday with an IC but nothing showed on that so todays was the poundshop one!

I now have to sit at work trying not to think about it until I get home and have a proper look - If it is I then have to wait for a few more hours before OH gets home so I can tell him/show him!! arrrrgh! I think this wait of a few hours is worse that the 2ww!!

newcook, I was the same with mine...I wasn't even planning to test and I don't know what made me. I just noticed my app said I could test today and I needed the loo so I did it. At first it looked like there was no line so I just brushed my teeth then picked it up to chuck it away and saw something faint. Hubby was asleep but I woke him up to ask if I was seeing things but he saw it too. I did another one with my next pee of the day and the line was marginally darker so I sent him out for a digital test - I don't think I'd have believed any line til I saw the actual word 'pregnant' haha!
