I am feeling a bit happier in myself. Christmas is helping and I've lost a stone doing slimming world which is making me like my body again, I've been in a 'I hate it' kinda mode for a while now. We're in the middle of our fertile window so making the most of it. Does anyone else feel happy at this time though? It's like each month, the emotions are as follows:

Beginning of cycle = sad, depressed, tearful, angry
Mid cycle (fertile window) = happy, determined, positive, excited
End of cycle = A bit of excitement but mainly anxious, irritable, regret (if anything missed during fertile days)

So there's only a very small time each month that I am actually happy - sounds terrible really doesn't it

Sorry to hear AF got you Butterfly.

As for me, I feel a little guilty posting this as I know some people have been trying for so long and here comes me the one cycle wonder, but I did another strip test last night which had a clear line and then a FRER - BFP!

Exciting and surreal but I have delayed posting as didn't really feel right.

Fingers crossed for some exciting Christmas Presents for you all... I will move into the less than 12 weeks thread xx

So I tested today about 3 days before AF is due & it was very much a BFN...which was stupid of me I know. But there's this thing niggling at me. I feel like I felt when I was pregnant last time. My blood pressure dipped and I felt really weird, which I've had for the last few days. In fact, I remember posting last time saying I felt odd then getting my BFP the next day. I don't normally feel like this on a none TTC cycle (I don't think). So now I'm obviously getting my hopes up when deep down I know I'm not pg. I am so going to drink myself silly when AF comes!

This is exactly me. Said I wouldn't obsess this time and as you can see from the post above, I'm testing despite not really knowing what DPO I am. TTC really flares up my anxiety. It'd be so nice to just be chilled all month.

Rachy, I am the same over ovulation, I get excited and happy, almost a bit 'I don't care when this happens for me as long as it happens!' Then I get sad/disappointed when AF arrives. To help, I remind myself of everything else I have going on in my life to be happy/grateful about and it does take my mind off it a bit.

I am towards the end of my fertile period. I don't really know when I ovulated as didn't do OPKs. But to hazard a guess I'd say I ovulated Sunday/Monday. I BDd, last Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday. Will try again tonight as well. I still don't think we are BD'ing enough as I have seen others who do it a lot more and then get Bfps. xx
