Sorry the witch got you new and slinky. Angel thank you so much for the guide, was trying to get the nerve up to ask how to tell the difference between semen and ECWM. I have spent too much time this weekend googling IVF costs and criteria. I am getting ahead of myself but am 34 now and the rates seem to get worse post 35 so I am thinking we ought not to leave it too long. It seems my local trust only pay for one cycle after you've been trying 3 years  I'm going to book in at the GP but it seems this tends to just involve waiting and I don't want time to slip away and my chances get worse. But its sooo expensive. Ironically I have a nice wodge of savings which is all budgeted for getting the loft converted next spring for 'the baby' who is showing no signs of existing yet. The builder is all booked and now I feel like I'm spending the money the wrong way round and will just end up with a big empty room making me sad
Is anyone else getting further investigations? Rachy sorry to hear of the time you're having. It's hard when partner wants to be supportive but doesn't get how strong you feel. I'm trying to compartmentalise but its difficult!
I went away to Berlin for a couple of nights and met up with my brother. Unfortunately between not DTD the morning I left or the night I got back I'm a bit worried we've missed ov. It was good to get away though and OH and I really missed each other so hopefully good for our relationship long term. I feel like someone should invent TTC retreats to give us all a bit of TLC!Saving for a deposit. £5440 of £11000 saved so far:j0 -
So it seems AF could be on her way for me, been cramping really bad the past few days and breasts are quite sore. It's weird though, the cramping is a lot higher than normal. I usually find my cramps are along my uterus and down, but this time round it seems to be in my stomach almost.
So with the cramps and seeing one of my best friends this weekend has been a rollercoaster for me. Yesterday I got so upset about all the negative OPKs and broke down in front of my auntie. She's one of the few who knows me and the OH are TTC. Came to conclusion that I think I would be ok if AF did show this month, but I am pinning all my hopes on next month. AF would be due a good 4/5 days before my birthday and it would be such a good way to celebrate my birthday, as I would probably be testing the day before/day of my birthday. I just dread to think how it'll be for me if AF comes about. I have a feeling that it will absolutely break me. OH keeps saying not to panic, don't get worked up and it'll happen when it happens, but it's still hard not to get too carried away.

Hey ladies just dropping in to send you all some hugs. I know it's so easy for me to say now but I promise things will get better. Whether it's just through time or through treatment you will all be parents!
TTC this one was the longest 14 months of our lives and I wish I could go back and tell 2015 me that it will happen. The amount of tears we cried and pain we felt was just all consuming.
The only things I can keep endorsing are acupuncture, diet changes and genuinely trying to focus on other things. I really think it was only when GP said we couldn't be referred for at least another year that my body went ok then may as well chill out a bit. But do push your GP - my original one said just be patient but I pushed for the initial tests.
Thinking of you all xxOfficially Mrs B as of March 2013
TTC since Apr 2015, baby B born March 20170 -
Hello everyone,
thanks for all that info Angel, its really useful. I ovulated over the weekend at some point, had first positive OPK Friday night and managed to BD Friday & Saturday. Hopefully that's enough. I tried to pay attention to my CM, I didn't find any EWCM though which is a bit of a worry. I have noticed it on previous months though so hopefully it was there somewhere and I just didn't find it.
I am on the pineapple now, had my first slice this morning. The taste is OK its the texture that's awful. But I will keep going, it also made me do some research this morning into some foods that are supposed to aid fertility and will be giving that a go now. One of the things I read was that Omega 3 is supposedly second best thing after taking a pre-conception tablet. I'm so annoyed as I have a whole box that hasn't been touched for the last 7 months! I have started taking today, am also going to include green tea, millet & almonds. I am going to get some vitamin c & zinc tablets for my OH to take too.
Thanks for popping in Cats, I am only halfway to how long it took you but looking back since March its probably all I have thought about & it has effected my happiness a lot. We are going to book a holiday for next June if I am not pregnant by Xmas so that will give me something to think about and get excited for too. xx0 -
Unfortunately the witch hasnt got me, which sometimes is worse than knowing she has. But 3 days late and no sign
My last pregnancy test didnt work either so its off to the shops later to buy more and wait again till tomorrow!
TTC is a rollercoaster and it will keep on being a rollercoaster until you get the BFP. I've got a horrible feeling I'm one of the longest on here now at just over 4 1/2 years of TTC. I did get my BFP last August but unfortunately Baby Hugh was born asleep in December. The only way I've been able to deal with it is not to obsess about it, hence I dont do OPK's, temping, keeping notes of EWCM, etc. With me and my partner the only time we really get down to dealing with it is around ovulation time and trying to make sure we DTD as much as possible.
Although by the end of this year I think we have to start looking at different options.0 -

Hoping today should be the last day of AF. The past couple of months I've noticed AF has regulated back to more like pre MC but this one has defiantly been more regular. Fingers crossed this is a good sign moving forward. OV time this month will be whilst we are away with friends, but that won't be stopping the BD'ing, just may make it slightly harder haha!Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Sorry to be a pain New but is there any chance you can update the lists with the DPO. I've been 3 DPO since Saturday :rotfl:.
At least BDing while friends are around will make it more interesting. You know what I mean though obviously not around around that would just weird.0 -
Fingers crossed for you Selina. Good luck to those of you BDing or waiting.
CD34 for me. Still getting some cramps about 3 times a day, they were bad yesterday but not much today. Had a nice night away with OH so was glad AF didn't ruin that. Discussed poas on drive home, but OH wants to wait another week!0
