SS I've noticed the odd thing. Boobs slowly getting more tender and swollen, needing to pee more and occasional aching tummy
Glad you're feeling more relaxed newthrift, that can only be a good thing. I've taken to absolutely not trusting symptoms like that, as I've had those (or been noticing them more?) regularly since starting TTC (need a rolling eyes smiley here - it's such a frustrating business!). Still got everything crossed for you.
Angel - I'm interested to hear more about your natural fertility information. I don't specifically track CM (not really sure how!), but I do generally notice 1 or 2 days a month when I (sorry, TMI!) find it in my undies, and generally coincides with a couple of days of muchly increased libido. Oddly enough, this rarely seems to coincide with what either the OPKs or trackers say, so I don't know what to think. I suspect we'd be best off following SMEP, but I'm afraid we find it difficult to keep going regularly enough for long enough, so I feel we have to focus our efforts a bit!
With regards the conversation about planning to DTD, DH has been more on board with that idea, and it's me that finds planning it difficult - how do you all manage when you're simply not in the mood? I think maybe it's stress rearing it's ugly head...
Found out about another pregnancy at work today, and have been making valient efforts not to assume that the person in question just fell pg without any effort - almost succeeding, as long as no-one tells me otherwise...
Butterfly - sorry to hear you've having such a rough time. I second what angel said about making sure you have a chat with him when the hormones have subsided and you are a bit more in control. I have to make an effort to do that, as I've been extremely hormonal in temperament recently, and it really helps to talk things through when I can explain where it's all coming from, which I really can't do when it's happening. Poor chap, I don't think he knew what he was in for when we started TTC!
Sorry, bit of an essay there - didn't realise I needed to talk so much :rotfl:0 -
CD29 for me and I'm feeling rubbish! Have had horrendous stomach cramps, an upset stomach, feel wiped out and kept having hot flashes today (but it was mega warm at work). Have had the cramps for a few days now so keep expecting AF. Wish she'd just hurry up and then at least I can have a glass of wine at the weekend. I know you're not out until you're out, but I'm not hopeful. We're both off work next week and I'm frustrated that it falls at the wrong time, anyone else get like that?
Hope everyone is getting on ok, fingers crossed for some good news soon0 -
I'm definintely interested in the natural fertility stuff. I am trying the whole pineapple core thing this month it's supposed to help with implantation . Aparantly drinking grapefruit juice helps with increasing EWCM as well. Im going to really try follow my body's natural signs along with SMEP. Thanks for the good luck Midget, we do find SMEP stressful as its so ridgid and planned and it's not actually that enjoyable! the only thing I like is once your done if your not sure what day youv ovulated you know pretty much youv covered every day. It did result in a positive test for us last month so im hopeful but also mindful that just bcos I had a positive test last month doesn't mean it's guaranteed this month xx0

A0503 I had planned on doing the pineapple thing this month too, but since I'm not sure when I oved I wasn't able to do it, ditto with smep
I'll post some info tomorrow. I've had a sticking headache all day, so the plan now is to watch a bit of TV, chill, & get an early night.0 -
I agree firebird I never trust the symptoms anymore as they have been more pronounced since the first MC. With regards to DTD when not in the mood, truthfully it's quite rare I'm not :rotfl: but if I'm not to start with once we start fooling about I'm soon in the mood. Everyone is different though, maybe try mixing things up (doing it in a different place or nice underwear)Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

So I did have a slight want to poas this morning but I didn't! I know that I have a 16lp and the earliest I can test is Sunday when I'm one day late (Dr recommended), so I did talk sense in to myself haha! In many ways although the symptoms I've had are in some ways no different to normal so I'm paying no attention to those, I feel a sense of hope this month and I've had that this whole month somehow xxChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

New you're stronger than I would have been, poas addiction is a real thing I'm sure of it. Feeling more positive though can only be a good thing.
Can I please be put 1dpo finally. DTD Monday am, had EWCM Monday and Tuesday and cm turned waterish yesterday so I'm 90% convinced I OV'd yesterday. On the down side DH had performance issues Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm hoping but not feeling too positive Monday was enough and I got my days wrong but I'm totally convinced we're out this month.
Can someone enlighten me re: the pineapple please? I've not heard of this in TTC before.0 -
I agree about ignoring all symptoms now Firebird. I do not trust my body at all. Last month I trusted the temperatures going up and staying up and it failed me so not doing them anymore either. I am only doing OPKs and we are doing SMEP so that's enough for me to rely on that we are doing all we can. Fingers crossed
I did have weird symptoms yesterday though, I was CD11 and felt like AF was coming or that I was mid-AF - crampy twinge like feeling, hard to explain. New symptom for me but have to ignore or it'll drive me crazy
Saw GP yesterday who is going to send me for counselling. She said that I should be confident all is working okay though due to the positive OPKs, as those are as reliable as the blood tests confirming ov.
PS: I hate pineapple, please don't make me eat it :rotfl:0 -
Hi Athens, aparantly pineapple is good for aiding implantation due to an enzyme it contains. Supposedly you should get a pineapple and cut the middle core into 5 pieces and it one piece a day for five days after ov. Aparantly not any Longer or before as it can dry up CM.
Apparently EWCM is key day of ovulation so sounds like you could be in with a good chance of catching.
I'm going to give it a go, nothing to lose and it didn't break the bank either!
Rachy I hope the counselling helps you get some head space, I think it will be good to offload onto someone who's seperate from the situation, it's interesting what the gp said about OPKs being as reliable as blood tests as I read that whilst you can get a surge, it doesn't mean your ovulating. that's good to know tho as I rely on those, to be honest when I get a positive OPK it does usually coincide with EWCM xx0
