Well turns out I was right and I got a smiley face yesterday afternoon so we DTD last night and will do tonight & tomorrow, miss one then bonus round (basically SMEP), keeping fingers crossed. This does show that following just my CM we were actually stopping a bit too early.

Funny you should say that New I was starting to think I may be doing the same. AF has shown up 15 DPO for the past 3 cycles since I have been tracking CM, which I know can be normal for some people but it's making me think I am a 14 dayer and stopping DTD a day too early.

When OV does happen I'm going to keep going a couple of extra days to be on the safe side.

We unfortunately couldn't DTD following ov but I think you can never do it too much around ov.

I am getting a bit excited, my BBT temp pattern is heading in the right direction and is the same as when I got my BFP. I am holding off testing for as long as possible though.

Welcome Li5a, some people get lucky & fall pg straight after coming off the pill - fx you'll be one of them.

New after reading your post, I've decided to give opks another try. I think I know when I'm oving, but I want to be doubly sure (might also persuade hubby to give smep a try too ) I just feel like I want to try everything possible before going to fc & pos needing assistance. Although I think I've made quite a lot of progress in the last few months - I'm now oving, my periods are heavier (& ever so slightly longer), no more pms, & I had a longer lp the cycle just gone (15 days). So all-in-all I guess I should be pretty chuffed with that

I am 13DPO today. When I got my BFP it was 14DPO and it was negative on 13DPO.

Rachy well done for holding out and not having poas yet I have fingers toes and everything else firmly crossed for you!
Athens defiantly worth a try as you never know. That extra BD could be the difference between and BFP & BFN!
Angel aww I'm glad you are thinking of having another go with OPK's. It has truly surprised me that we have been basically stopping 2/3days early each month and when I looked back on the times I have fell PG it happens to be when we DTD on what is possibly OV Day. It's also worth another shot to see what happens before going for the tests as you genuinely never know!

Had a slightly sharp pain yesterday on my left side and was only a passing flicker so I am wondering if that was OV pains which we DTD the past two nights and I lay legs up on the headboard (:rotfl: we all do it) & then flat for about 20mins so should be some little men up there to meet it in theory.

Giggles in our house this morning. OH went onto YouTube on my account on the tablet this morning to play a song but got an advert first (based on my browsing history). Cue very loud advert for OPKs and him questioning my Google habits. Ladies I think I may have been busted (although not actually bought any).
