What if ..........they had sent a paper statement but it got lost in the post?
You still would not have paid and they would be correct in putting a late/missing payment on your account.0 -

It's not a "trap" to make customers pay more fees.
Remember, if you purchase something you'll (eventually) have to pay if you use credit facilities.
Feel free to disagree, but please don't respond with the passive aggressive "thanks for taking the time.." you gave to others..0 -
How come you don't check and read your emails?. Why do you have an email account if you don't even read themore? . I don't think it's unreasonable to have communications by email from an online only company!
But I do agree with Gingerbob that Very should be avoided (that's probably the only thing he says I will ever agree with). Any company that expects you to open a credit account to place orders should definitely be avoided if posible. Although apparently you can order without a credit account but their high prices offer no incentive to do this.

Hate Very.
First time I used them was to order a Vacuum.
They sent me a Toaster.
Returned toaster and they pestered me for payment for the vacuum which they didn't even resend.
A lot of calls, emails and letters later they said sorry.
Took about two months for that.
They didn't return the payments I made to get them off my back.
And still owe me and I bought a vacuum elsewhere.0 -
I'm glad I don't use them anymore.
I was made redudant just after spending about £250 with them and couldn't afford the repayments so had to offer token payments which they refused - I actually sold most of my possesions to pay it off, but alas, too late.
My credit score has been shocking since then, this was late 2010 early 2011, so i'm hoping my score improves next year.Professional Data Monkey

Just need to post a thread once, if it's more suited in another section either you or another user will ask a board guide to move it.0 -

They are truly awful complaints about them every where customers ordering items them turning up faulty customers having to continue payments for months while they wait for inspection of items.
That's a huge fail order vacuum and toaster arrive. And keeping money you had paid to them is wrong!!0
