Duplicate thread - this is already in Consumer Rights.

Thanks for reading my post and replying

Did not know what thread to put it in all threads I have put them in seemed applicable more eyes that see more chance of advice. I know when I used to use the forums alot I only used/read specific sub sections and did not read all.

    I've read all that.

The only issue appears to be that somehow you have been changed from paper statements through the post to statements being sent by email.

Everything else you have written is just noise.

You place an order in December.
Were you not expecting to pay for that?
When you didn't receive the expected statement through the post, didn't you wonder why that might be?
You tell us you did get an email from Very but chose to ignore it.

It does seem a shame that Very cannot tell you why you have been moved from paper billing, but the bottom line is that you missed a payment, so the 'red mark' should stay.

Thank for taking time to read and reply.

    Yes i order placed December.
Yes i expected a statement beginning of January.

They sent me a duplicate copy of email the other day whilst on the phone was asked email address told them then got a copy of statement email to a different email address to what I had given on phone.

If I was going to order something and choose not to pay for it and ruin my credit file i would not have done it for £30 when my limit was 3k.

It is a shame that they can send emails asking for reviews on purchases for a chance to win £500 but not a vital piece if information such as we have changed you from paper to online statements.

Appreciate you opinion and input thought so thank you again

Unfortunately what you have done is breached the forum rules ... by posting the same thing in multiple places you have spammed the forums.

I have a very account with paperless billing I assume (its never posted me anything)

I bought something last month on it, for £10.

I got an email, a text when the statement was generated AND a reminder text to pay it closer to the due date.

Thank you for taking time to read and reply

Did you set your account up online with online statements?
As I said in a reply on this thread whilst on the phone they asked me my email address I gave it to them and they said they had sent me a copy of the email notification of a statement they sent it to a different email address to what I had just given them.

They do not have a phone number for me so have never received texts from them

I hold two accounts with them as years back they well all different additions direct, ect then they merged to very. Whilst on the phone the first time regarding this I asked are both my accounts now back over to paper statements and was assured they were. Three days later thought I would check and one was still online luckily I had time to pay this one..

Obvious that they want people to forget to pay so they can charge late payment fee.

As well as being annoying, there is no point at all in just keep posting the same thread in different boards. All that will happen is that people just won't bother responding as there is no way of keeping track of what is going on with all the various threads.

Choose a board to stick with, then contact the BGs of the other boards and ask them to move the other threads.

I'll save you the trouble. ;)

    From the forum rules:
    Q. What's spam?

    A.
Forum users mustn't post comments more than once on the forum (the only exception is members of the MSE Team; when needed). It's called spamming and most internet forums forbid it. Where spam is reported to the Forum Team, the posts are deleted and the user's posting privileges may be removed. Please don't quote any post you believe is spam, as this causes the team more work.

Several boards on our forum have a spam button. If enough forum users click the spam button on a thread, that thread will automatically be deleted. The Forum Team may choose to leave it deleted or re-instate it.
