You really are naive mate. In no way was it 'incompetence'. It was premeditated dissembling to avoid the fury that followed. He knew how it would be seen. Can't you see that?
The problem with Jezza is that he's too straight and rather slow in some ways. He doen't dissemble at all ...that's partly why he isn't a good leader. He claims amongst the lowest expenses of any MP. He is not motivated by money/financial advantage in any way. He is the true idealist. Whereas Cameron is a liar and a fraud...... which sadly in this world makes him a more effective leader in some ways because it enables him to square the divisions within his own party. He's like the master of the art who he learned this from.....Tony Blair!
Corbyn is an IRA supporter who refuses to discuss his long history of support throughout the years of bombing and killing. The coward now refuses to discuss the issue.
He refuses to say whether he supports tax transparency for (at least) all MP.
He lies everyday, denying long held views on most policy matters : only needed to hear him talk about the EU : straight lies.
He has not one decent bone in his body: a total fraud and a liar.
Of course Cameron is in the same mold as Corbyn but with different things to lie about.
Anyway you are still too cowardly to say whether you support tax free transfers between spouses or whether that should be restricted only to Labour voters.0 -
let us try to guess : has Moby posted about is a Labour politician or a Tory one ?
No comments on Benns/Liverstones /Corbyn tax affairs then Moby?
and you are still too cowardly (or ignorant ) to answer the question of whether there should be tax free transfers between legal spouses (note you condemned Camerons parents for using this legal device)0 -
You're on an internet forum, to discuss viewpoints. Would you prefer if everyone just ignored your views?
There is a long history here mate!....he's going off on one again about Corbyn and the IRA and bombing and killing. I get the feeling he doesn't like Jezza. I'll tiptoe away and get the nurse.;)0 -
Corbyn said 'We should stay in because the unelected EU has introduced worker protections that our elected representatives would probably reject'
I would take that as a reason to leave - say it was the other way round and the EU was preventing us from protecting workers, presumably he would be campaigning for out....
Am I the only one for whom democracy matters?I think....0 -

Wow!.....answer the question, answer the question, answer the question .....rants Clapton as he froths from his mouth. 'Ignorant', 'cowardly'.... blah blah. Wind your neck in mate..... the argument is not over the legality of the device!
ok if it is not about the legality of the device than what about the morality of the Benns and Liverstone, Hodge, Corbyn financial arrangements?
so presumably you do now support tax free transactions between spouses as long as they are labour supporters.0 -

Livingstone - Don't like him ....never have....loose Cannon and dishonest, so I can see that he could have dishonest tax affairs . Only thing I did like about him was that he was a pain in the !!!! for Thatcher.
Hodge - very nice lady.... met her a few times and was an effective chair of the Public Accounts Committee. I know she is loaded but don't know the details. If she has done wrong re. her tax arrangements then of course she is a hypocrite and is culpable.
Jezza - really nice chap....have met him a few times. Not a good leader though - he is a campaigner really but is not dishonest imo. If he has done anything wrong re. his tax arrangements I'm pretty sure it's not intentional.0 -
Benn - a hero retrospectively but a bit of a pain in the !!!! for Harold and I liked Harold....so Benn had his good points but was a bit of a hypocrite at times. He was a bit sly at his peak in the seventies imo. Dont know anything about his tax haven interests.

so basically you choose not to know about any dodgy tax dealing of labour politicians but are absolutely sure about tory ones (without know any real facts).
as I said, no principles or moral compass just a tribal 'labour is good and tories bad.'
Frankly whether you like them is NOT the issue : its about the moral issue about avoiding tax even if legal; although liking an IRA supporter who is too cowardly to be honest about his view would be an issue for a person with principles.0 -
