Evening all,
So sorry for your loss JackieO.
Happy birthday Nargleblast. Hope youve had a lovely day.:)
Just been food shopping today. Everything seems such an effort. I'm trying to finish off my laundry. My new tumble dryer comes on Tuesday and hubby needs to get my old one outside for collection but he cant do it till ive finished using it.
Oh well, maybe tomorrow when the men are at work i'll feel a bit different.
I just feel so weary.

Good evening everyone ,thank you all for your kind messages It has been a dreadful day as I have been on the phone telling family in England for him.Yes it was my lovely brother who lost his partner Sandra, and he was only over here a few weeks ago and took lots of bits back with him for her. when the phone went this morning and it was his son Steven saying I've got some bad news My first thought was it was Davey, as he is in remission from leukemia, and has had goodness know umpteen treatments for his heart as he has had a couple of 'shunts' fitted and his health has been going downhill for the past 18 months I never for one moment imagined it was Sandra as she was such a bubbly healthy lady and so full of life.always laughing and looked after davey so well.he is devastated as you can imagine It seems so unfair that the nice folk are taken so suddenly like that. He only came home from hospital on Friday himself, as he had been in for some more transfusions and treatments.
I think I still am in shock at the moment and goodness knows how her sons are taking it .She lost her OH about 11 years ago suddenly and Davey had known them both for several years beforehand.
They got together more as companions for each other about 8 years ago and shared a house and life. He gets on well with her family over there so at least he won't be on his own thank goodness. But everything will be held up for a week or two as her english branch of the family will need to travel over there. She had, like David, lived in France for around 15 years. I know he won't come back to live in the UK as he loves the life out there. So difficult when folk live abroad and not just round the corner.
I shall be having a word with the Big Guy tonight and asking him to look after them all
Thanks again chums for all your kind thoughts
JackieO xx0
