Was just going to write that I have arrived back in my own wee corner of Argyll and very happy to be here. Then I saw this...Just had an unexpected phone call from my brother in France his partner Sandra collapsed and was taken into hospital on Friday as he was coming home from a short stay in there himself, and died this morning .Bless her she was only 64 and a bright bubbly lady who never seemed to suffer with a cold even:(:sad:
Luckily his son is over there at the moment and will stay with him for awhile. So much sadness in the world at the moment
R.I.P Sandra xx
Oh, Jackie, condolences to your brother and yourself, and the extended family. It's still raw with me so I feel for you so much. We are lucky that those in this thread are so supportive and caring, I've felt the 'love' lately with the death of my nephew and now send it onto you.
I'll unpack later, only got a couple of things to wash, and have been shopping, filled up the bird and squirrel feeders, opened all the post and will catch up NCIS shortly.
Outlander sounds good too, will look for it later in the week.
I hope that all those who are travelling home today have a safe trip. Normal service to be resumed all round soon.0 -
