    Get well soon La E!

I have washed all my bedding and dried outside.

Tried to potty train the little boy but he's still a bit clueless. I now have half a load of laundry to do but on the flip side, have not used any nappies today :rotfl:

He also peed on our dining chairs, so we had to take them apart to dry properly and I'm glad we did - they were well overdue a deep clean! So scrubbed those today outside in the sunshine.

Also vacuumed and mucked out the cars.
Dinner cooked from plan plus extra made to freeze

A very productive day. Hope you all have had a great weekend! x
    New total: £24,006 :(
    I will do this.

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
hellebelle I remember that stage well. I tried from 18 months with my son as he was showing signs of readiness. Remember an awful first week of 10 outfits a day going into the wash. But he clicked on soon after and was day dry very soon. Nights we kept the nappies till he was 3 then went cold turkey. Good luck it's just a stage as all the experts like to say ;)

    Morning all :)
Frosty here overnight as well Bobarella. Having said that, we had everything yesterday, heavy rain, a bit of sunshine, windy, and hail that fell so hard that it settled like snow  It is quiet and sunny (and cold) at the moment, but not sure what today will bring!

Well, I finished my stocktaking yesterday :T but didn't do much else. Shopping at Mr S & Lidl, DD came round, OH cooked supper and nothing else (apart from dog walks) really got done. I want to finish sorting out biz paperwork today, so not being too ambitious with today's list either:

    Dog walks x 2
HM meals from stores, OH made enough shepherds pie last night to do today as well :T Done
Heating off - at the moment anyway! Still off! But it is cold so the wood stove is alight :)
Finish off (as far as possible) biz paperwork stuff for 2015/16 FY - very early I know, but once it is done I won't have to think about it any more till I need to get it to the accountant / do the tax return (I usually do this in May or whenever P60 etc available) - accountant isn't usually busy then, and I then don't need to think about it again for ages :T Done :j:j
Housework, hopefully (paperwork taking preference though!) Done a little bit
Any surveys, check FPL (don't know if the latter is a good use of my time though tbh ) Just found one survey today.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday, liking the idea of some of the plans for the day :)

Bleurrgh, been up to my neck in paperwork all day, with a break for a route march with the dog when my poor brain started to fry! Done now though :T and looking forward to doing something (anything!) different tomorrow!

Still, at least I have been too busy to spend anything

HelleBelle I remember that well too. I personally think it will just click when they are ready. We potty trained my daughter during the day and then she wore drynight pants for a while.

I have a moneysaving dilemma. I am going to a wedding party in 2 weeks, there will be a few old school friends there that I haven't seen in years. We have booked into a cheap hotel and I am regifting a bottle of champagne. I had my hair cut at the hair and beauty college for £6. Now, I really want to get my nails done, I always get my waxing etc done by the same women as she is excellent. I tried the beauty college and it wasn't as good as not uber cheap either. Now I have booked to have a manicure and pedicure as my nails/skin are shocking and I want to look my best. I have booked to have Shelac gel nails but it is going to cost £50. By the way Shelac nail varnish last longer than your ordinary nail varnish and it involves lots of layers and a special drying machine (don't think yu could do it at home unless you had the kit)I am feeling like I shouldn't but do I deserve a treat?? What should I do....
