Cameron spending £9 Million on Brexit Propaganda.

Being as the leaflets are so generally despised but appear to be worth a tidy sum (9mil wow!) I've been going round collecting them - most people are happy to give them away!
I've got several thousand now and am a bout to list them on eBay.
Kerrrrrrching!!!!Left is never right but I always am.0 -

And the damn Turks are joining next Tuesday.
That will mean a kebab house in every town up and down the land, filled with young, fit men , most of whom are violent and ignoring the norms of civil society. That will mean a fundamental changing in English life as we.......ah hang on.0 -

But hey just claim it was done by a German firm, what has fact got to do with it. Is this what Brexit is reduced to doing?
It was a very good smear, though I think the Facebookistas were slow on the uptake.
Indeed, what has fact got to do with it? You do what is needed for 'your side' right?
I'm fascinated by the anti-establishment angle in all this. Cameron has to defend the government position, yet this leaves him open to the protest vote.
One of the biggest risks for the government is if people become so swamped with so called 'facts', that they end up thinking that it's a case of "6 of 1, half a dozen of the other". In that case, they might vote to "stick it to the man".
I'm still waiting for the EU charm offensive too. If they worry about a Brexit so much, I'm sure they can come up with some late sweeteners.0 -
It's a multinational. Listed in Germany with a German headquarters and companies all over the world.
The original claim is that the booklet was printed in Germany. It's a long way from there to a UK firm that is the subsidiary of a multinational headquartered in Germany.
Frankly if the fact that some leaflets get printed in such a way causes such a fuss implies that the Brexit campaign is weak at best.
Any idea what the plan is for after you lot leave or is that still up in the air?
Gross invasions of British Imperialism such as this foreign upstart firm on our sovereign soil will be crushed immediately. Traitors who have worked for this firm will be dealt with. That is the first action, top of the exit plan.0 -

There will also be gangs of young drunk fanatics roaming the streets after dark, having just been to an organised event to worship their idols. These people will not integrate with rival gangs and wear different colours to show this. They will abuse members of the public, swear and often resort to violence to settle differences. This is unacceptable in a civilised society such as Britain.0 -

If it was the other way round, the Murdoch tabloids would be all over the 'BBC bias'
I think the £9m quid spent on pro-EU leaflets distributed to the entire UK population more than counterbalances any perceived bias during a 15 minute EU segment on a TV program.0 -

I'd hope so although I speak as a remainiac.
Anyone that fancies a fair fight has clearly never been in a fist fight.0 -

It would appear that most people who are outside the UK, including various representatives of the US, Canadian, Australian and NZ governments are keen on the UK remaining in the EU.
Whether their keenness is based on what they feel is good for themselves or good for the UK is up for debate.
It does smack as hypocrisy for the governments and citizens of successful independent countries to insist the UK remain shackled to the EU superstate.0 -
I'm still waiting for a definitive answer on the £9m costs. I think they were just production costs, and don't cover brochure development or logistics, but even my OUT mp isn't clear yet.
The German bit is a red herring. If this was done at last minute it won't have gone out to a full competitive tender. They have preferred suppliers, and it will have been a capacity issue ("can you do this volume at short notice").0
