Jee that new... lol, its 20+ years since I first saw Scots UV, no idea when it started though ?
Thanks Flobberchops.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
Its easier with a UV light at the counter in Scotland, no mucking about with heads and pens...but the scots were always the brains
True, however to be fair, you try paying for something with a Scottish bank note down here in jolly England and you're treated like you are handling forged currency anyway.....:rotfl:0 -

I know, I had a experience in London many years ago where I handed the checkout girl a Scots £20, she said she just had to check with supervisor which I was ok with as I know the English think they are fake.
The manager came out with attitude refusing it was real, I explained it came out their ATM in Scotland and if it was not real I would be suing them, obviously this made him irate and started shouting loud enough customers were watching.
I told him I was leaving the store now and to put the change in the charity tin and he started saying he would call the police, I was on CCTV etc lol
I told him to go ask head office for fake note training and to go ahead call the police on me and said "Every Little Helps the police" - as I handed him my business card :rotfl: He was so red in the face and angry up to that point that I thought he might combust when I done that lolSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... I work in Retail and prefer Scots notes over English ones any day!
The UV shows much more detail on a Scots note than it does an English one.
Mind now the new £50 note has UV details I do miss the days of rubbing paper on a Houblon £50 to see if the red ink rubbed off on it!It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -

Did Scotland gain Independence since I last looked?
That Tory idiot Dav'id is on the Scots news nearly every night.
His scots counterpart bought Tata scots sites and sold them on to Liberty House (whilst Dav'id plays with his HMRC login), I bet that didnt make the 'UK' news.
So NO.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -

Interesting as the pens we use don't leave any marks unless they are counterfeit,
So how do you know the pen is working? Keep a couple of counterfeit notes in the branch specifically for "pen testing"?
It reminds me of an old Fred Bassett cartoon. Master's blowing a dog whistle, but Fred's hiding and thinking "If I stay here, he can't tell if it's working or not"0 -
