I'm glad she will be occupied as I'm sure it is going to be very tough for her x

I was thinking while TINYSHOES is preoccupied with her kitchen I might be able to sneak in and pinch her Xmas cake that was lurking in her pantry ;):rotfl: mine would never last that long :o

Still in hospital but things are being put into place for her return x

I am sure TS will donate to you:p:D

Just found RTC in Penzance Morries, 3 pack 125g John West pink salmon for £1 per pack
Lots of cake angle and Morries cake decorations for 31p and 33p
    HTH

John West Pink Salmon? I understood it was Princes Tuna 3 pack at 50p and individual cans of Princes Pink Salmon at 40p in M. There have been some offers on some JW products although they have not been as good (so I haven't been paying as much attention to JW).

    Is this really a 3 pack i.e. 3x125g, at £1? TIA.

If it is - yet another item that isn't in any of the Morries I've visited:rotfl:. (Maybe this RTC has just started and I will find it tomorrow. Or perhaps it was in stores I've visited but none of them had changed the SELs to show the £1 price by the time I visited or had done so but then changed it back.)

I think all the cake decorations are really 31p (so the 33p SELs are wrong) unless you have some other ones that I don't have:rotfl::rotfl:.

You may have - it seems (though I may have the wrong impression from my sample of stores) it's going to be rare in M generally though - the 40-ish candles at 33p. I believe they are still 33p, although this is an RTC months, and possibly even a year, after it started. I've only ever seen one store - around three months ago - that still had them that late (and I was surprised to find them still available in some M) - I've kept them on the list continuously since even though it's possible they've gone. I have not found them ever again since, despite at least 50 stores on from that. I've also lost the Dr. Oetker Violet Crystal Sprinkles now and haven't seen those for some time now. Has anyone still got the (lower weight) Eton Mess version that's also (I believe) 53p?

It's possible we could find a lower price on the JW Pink Salmon if it remains in some other store for a week or two more, or it may now help us to find it in some store that has never changed the SEL and continues to have stock for much longer:T. Be assured - it's now been added to Savvy's watch list and I shall be tracking it whenever I find it:D. (If indeed it turns out to be as good as it looks.)

Very useful post for alerting us all to that one:T:T.

Hup one two three, get those knees up :rotfl: When I had my knee replacement last year I was given some risers from NHS to borrow to put on sofa feet, just the right height for me :)

Lucky you. NHS really failed me with I had my THR. I had it done in a hospital outside my area as someone had recommended this surgeon to me and luckily my GP done a referral to them for me. However paid for it big time after trying to get equipment, physio afterwards as one was saying my local health trust should be providing all that and local health trust was saying where I had the op should be providing stuff. I always remember a physio to came to see me in the ward after, telling me I could sit in a dining chair for six weeks as thats high enough  Lucky for me Red Cross lent me a comfy raised armchair :A
Also, was told to buy a raised thing for the toilet. I told her if you dont provide a raised toilet seat I wont be going home. Cue her leaving room and coming back with said raised toilet seat for me :rotfl: That and crutches was all I was loaned.

Having problems getting help with mum now. She is deteriating fast (just normal old age things but seems to be ageing faster than ever. Is 83 and was extremely active up to her 80th)
Im trying and failing to get a carers assessment (I care for mum and OH who has very severe COPD). Put in for a occupational health assessment for mum. Told it will be 16 week wait. I despair at times :(

ETA Why does the word toilet show in red. toilet toilet lol

ILTS....This was my Grandad's and Father's chair...It is highbacked and so comfy...The headrests are great...Nice for an afternoon nap..:o...I will be having it re-covered..The photo seems to shorten it but I am over 6 feet tall and my head still rests in the wings..

I would imagine that these types of chairs can be found in auction rooms....If you have anything nearby you..It is always worth considering and having it re-covered to your nans taste...:)
