I have the other side to the rent story. My DD and her boyfriend have been renting. They were two months without heating winter before last while the landlord sorted the cheapest deal, and they have had water leaking through the ceiling from the bath since October, in the meantime the landlord is refusing to do anything until they pay for an oven that they did not damage but cannot prove it.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Small tins Princes pink salmon reduced to 40p in Morries.
They also had an empty space for red salmon at 50p.
    Boxes of 30 skips /hoola hoops/space raiders £2.00.

Just having a look at my cos and its got one claim for
dark chocolate pick ups from certain waitrose but not mine :(
And various other pick up from various stores with various ammounts and various dates - very confusing.

    Are the MOCs scanning now?

Also Paul hollywoods bakes 3 claims refreshed to April 19th so I might stand a chance of finding them in a bigger store but are they the same price?

I've got kettle bites again - can I claim them again, refreshed dates to 15th but I got them on Tueday"???
And are they still £1 in mr Tosssers

Out all day and just catching up :D I think I need the wisdom of mysupermarket
“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”
  • Actually a better comp for the Grolsch v T.

This I can confirm through my own painful, long winded and very expensive experience.

My tenant took out a wonga load for £5000, I only found out after he had been evicted by bailiffs. So I had to explain to wonga it wasn't me, tenant gave all my details correct, except my DOB, so wonga believed me and were left to chase the £5000.

In the tenancy agreement, he was allocated all water costs, so in 2010 he change the water bill from his name into mine, then didn't bother to pay it, so I was left with £1600 in unpaid bill.

Again on the phone explaining to the water company that they should have verified the name change before proceeding, they said they just took his work for it....!

With a water bill in my name, this guy is 1/2 way to identity theft !!!!!

All in I ended up £2000 out of pocked from rent arrears, £3000 spent on legal and court fee's, and another £7000 to bring the ruined flat back up to standard.:mad:

I bet when he talks about you he says you were the best ,friendly and helpful landlord he ever had:):)
