Ooooh John Smith's Ale is now free on CS and the bacon has gone back to being Ms only now *goes back to kitchen*

Which John Smith's Ale is this?
I have several alcoholic drinks this time on RTC from M. Although none of them ordinarily work out as good priced as SP/Value cans (except that clearly this JS Ale for free does - but I am just hoping for a bit more than just that:rotfl:), I will put all that I have onto the list for info. in case it might be useful.

Don't expect them all immediately to appear on the M list - I have a lot of other items to go through and they will be there at the end of the evening! There are also some single cans and occasional single bottles (various different ones) at 69p each in at least one M. Again, just for info.

Very interesting view of consumer psychology actually - the stock of one flavour of a product completely gone because it says 10p with stock of an unmarked flavour left even though it is also 10p and 25p tinned hot dogs left untouched in one store (Chester) because the store has left the out of date £1 SELs on them.

Completely expected but just shows how it influences how people behave/what they buy (or don't).

I can't see the volume on there but I assume it is 500ml?

I have a 4 cans pack on RTC in M, clearly not that one:( - I can't see any other JS Golden Ale product but it may be buried in my information somewhere (if so I'll come across it later).

Aye it is the 500ml. It's £1.65 in Ms at the moment and you get £1.80 back. Still 15p profit :money:

I have just ordered a 1000 litres pre-formed pond to use as a wildlife pond, I love frogs and toads. In my last garden I had a wildlife pond full of frogs, and a fish pond with a waterfall that the toads used to spawn in. I can't wait to install it and get it all planted up around the edges.

My next project is to build a huge wildlife hotel out of pallets, would dearly love to encourage hedgehogs into my garden, as well as other wildlife.

We looked at a house a few years ago. really nice house until the owner commented that his back garden pond meant that he often scalped frogs and toads as he mowed the lawn.
