Why they didn't like it?

Looking at the outside, I assumed inside would be awful but its beautifully decorated inside!I want all your bedroom furniture
If I was viewing I'd be torn between the inside being so pretty but the outside being very unappealing to my personal tastes. Not saying it's a problem but it would make me hesistate.

Even if a house is nice and well priced, it might simply not be what the viewer was looking for.... and they might give it another look as people are telling them that they'll have to compromise on something, but, right now, yours still didn't rock their boat.
Maybe they really want downstairs
Maybe they really don't want to be overlooked in the garden
Maybe they really wanted one that looked a bit different from the outside
Maybe they really wanted one 3-4 miles up the road
Maybe they really wanted .... all sorts of things that, no matter how hard they tried, yours just didn't give them.0 -
If they have viewed it three times and noted their interest then it sounds like they like it, but are not quite in a position to put in an offer0

We recently viewed a house 4 times before putting in an offer - my other half works weekends so really it was 2 viewings! We then made sure it was affordable etc before submitting the offer.... We were interested and met the vendor themselves but didn't make the offer right away to make sure we were comfortable.
You have a lovely property and I wouldn't worry too much - sure it will be snapped up.

The outside is a little ugly (sorry!) but inside is nicely decorated. However I would imagine the rooms are probably a lot smaller than they look on the pics. We viewed a house where the rooms looked a LOT bigger on the pics and it immediately put us on a downer as soon as we entered the house. I know its a common EA tactic but the room sizes were miles away from our expectations.0

For me the outside is off putting, the front fence looks cheap, changing that to a wrought iron gate will make a great improvement, also the rear garden fence is very low, from the pic it looks like you have the most over looked garden ever, either change the pic or better yet raise the fence height.
To be picky the inside looks great but I would maybe remove the settee below the window, replace with an armchair and add a small dining table, if the size of the room would allow.
And lastly, what's going on with that hedge! it looks like it cuts the front window in two?0 -
The outside is easy and cheap to change, so don't listen to anyone telling you to change it (other than some really cheap pots etc. No point doing any kind of landscaping as it won't suit the buyer). It's a nice wee house. House buyers are the most fussy people on the planet...there are hundreds of things going through their heads round and round, and very little of it makes sense to anyone (speaking as a buyer myself).
Your house has garden, parking, good fittings inside, good floors etc. It'll sell.0 -

The OP asked "why they didn't like it" not "will it sell", people were giving their answers to that question.
Of course it will sell, no one was saying it wouldn't.0 -
Thanks for all the replies folks.
Don't get me wrong, I know the garden isn't great, there's half a story behind it. My neighbour had a bloody great big tree, that overhung and blocked out basically all natural light to all the grass, which killed it all. They eventually decided to have it cut down but that left us with a garden that now got plenty sun, but looked horrendous. To save cash, and time, we put woodchip down on a lot of it. It actually looks better in real life than it does in the photos, the photos make it look like there's more woodchip than there actually is.
No offers as yet, but we're not really desperate to sell, I was more posting because this is our first time selling and I genuinely didn't know.0
