The points haven't shown up on my clubcard account yet. Is it safe to withdraw the money from the savings account or best to wait?

Your money had to be in the account on 31 May to qualify for the points, and these will be awarded in the August mailing.

Just an aside, if you have more than £10,000 in this account, you can only withdrawn £10,000 each day.

So they won't appear in the online balance before then? I've been checking it regularly, hoping to see the bonus points, but no joy.

I see that they are running this offer again, I opened an account with them last time and got 1500 points. There appear to be two different sort of accounts which offer points on a deposit. How can I find out which account I already have with them so I can open another to collect the points. Or would it be easier to close the account and start a new one?

Again according to Tesco, the promotion is restricted to "new customers and to one account per person". So I assume to get it, you'd have to close all your Tesco personal finance accounts and start afresh, regardless of what account you currently have with them. (Logging into your account should show the type, else ring them up and ask.)

Current thread about it is here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1180111

The "new customers" bit is a recent change on their website, because it wasn't there when I applied for my second Internet Saver account last weekend.

I'd also checked with their CS before applying and was told I'd still qualify for the bonus because I didn't take advantage of the deal last time around when I applied for my first Internet Saver.

I have opened an account before with this promotion and closed it after getting the points. I also have a Tesco Clubcard Plus Account.

Will I still qualify as a new customer?
