    Afternoon Campers,
A different day to the one we'd planned. Cancelled city centre trip. Buying new oven has paled into insignificance compared with the escalation of the Horrible Car Noise. It has got much worse & we are now fearing major expense such as gearbox replacement. So, car is pretty much grounded apart from very short essential local trips & has been booked in for a service & diagnostic on Weds. Today's money saving things:
*Put emergency plans in place for 2 possible car scenarios i)Having the cash to pay for repair ii)Decide on repair cost ceiling above which it would make more sense to replace car a year earlier than we have planned. This will involve shifting money from emergency fund to car fund & reseaching a loan to make up the shortfall.
*Groceries more or less on budget this week.
*Free 'Guardian' & magazine from Waitrose.
*Free cream egg each from Boots (O2 Priorities).
*YS chicken from Co-op for £2.25.
*Cashed in my IPSOS survey points for another £10 voucher.
*Found hardback cookery book I'd been looking for in charity shop for £1.99....& mr f found 4 CDs for 25p each. Clearly some local.muso has cleated out their music collection as he's found no end of gems to add to his vast collection.
*Pot up baby lettuces into modules for growing on.
*Water veggie seedlings & check for any problems.
*List some ebay items as it seems to be free listings during April.
*Finish current little sock then cast on its pair.
*Spare change rounded up for shrapnel.box.
*Enjoyed window shopping dresses & platform sandals but did not buy.
Ok, must get cracking now to shift my mood away from fretting about the car.
    Love to all,
    F x

    * Unplumbed the old washing machine. Cleaned behind it. Yikes! Re-papered the wall behind it using a £1 roll of paper from the bargain bin, that has a Frozen Elsa design. Good grief. No-one will see it, it's just to keep the manky wall away from the washing machine. Wallpaper paste was from stores.

Loving the idea of a hidden Elsa!

    Hi all,
I'm having an NSD and tidying up (free!) I'm trying to calculate debt repayments etc and I cannot remember what that tool is called - where you pay off several debts at once? I have 3 0% cc's and a small lump sum. I keep thinking it's called spiralizer but I know that's wrong!!! Can anyone remind me please :)

Oh Foxgloves - so sorry about the car. These things are never straightforward. My cars always seem to give up the ghost the week before Christmas.
