Morning :hello: quick update to clear my mind before a busy day working form home. Need to do loads as I'm off for a week and a bit :T

this morning I made up an order for a customer from my own business as I'm seeing her tomorrow £100 profit :T will go straight to savings :D Have 3 items ending on fleabay on Sunday, will be keeping a keen eye this weekend.

I'm away for 2 nights from tomorrow, but it's long paid from holiday fund, just need about £30 for food (eating in and cooking) and some wine - which I have in stores.

Will take some stuff with me as I will have some 'head space' whilst I'm there - so will take stuff to review last 2 protection policies and my financial sheet so I can do some faffing with overpayment ideas to see where I might get to.

Lovely sunny day so one washing on line, one in and one to go on so I can go away with a pretty empty basket.

Got a JP out of freezer for lunch - why did I never think of baking and freezing them before - duh:o

Right must crack on and not spend all day grazing round t'interweb on other people diaries.

Up and about early, can't go too far this morning as I'm swapping my car (saving on tax payable :D) and I don't know what time they'll be coming I'll have littlest to entertain but really want to do useful things :o might empty some of garage so we're not noisy in the house as DH on nights.

Have done a TT this morning split between 2 savings accounts :) washing drying outside and whilst it's not sunny, there is a breeze so should dry quickly.

Not much else to report other than mortgage approval arrived yesterday :T just need to book valuer, which might not actually be needed but will call today anyway. Will sign forms and get back in post asap. Good times.

Evening folks. Busy weekend away with friends. Very MSE in the end, self beauty treatments shared around so had pedi, head massage and others with no cost to me :) food was £30 in the kitty so all good as no additional cost anywhere.

Paid £85 profit from own business made to savings account/isa split.

Sold 2 items on fleabay. £33 more been split between two above. Must package up to go and post tomorrow.

Decided on family day out Tuesday, investigate pad cheapest way for tickets. Hodgepodge, 1 te5co club card, 1 parent and toddler, 1 to get on day (discounted with p&t) cost £38 rather than £95  will take picnic :D

Cashed in rest of cc vouchers for p1zza express. Will use in hols as a treat somewhere.

Used one of my 2 60p each light rings to make my bargain lampshades fit. Need t make other shade and then fit tomorrow. Managed to dry 3 loads of washing including 2 sets of bedding today outside :T

Off to make list of what I want to achieve this week, will include some more listing on fleabay and getting stuff organised for local charity sale.

Hope you enjoyed the taste of summer we saw today :D

    Hi PF,

Sounds like you are doing great. You have reminded me I need to check what Mr T vouchers I have left to use on meals or days out.

I hope all is well with you

Hi legomum and Orange fairynthanks for popping by :) lovely to log on and see other people had posted and it wasn't just me rambling to myself :o

It's payday tomorrow :T I love it the big money shuffle. Plus I can pay more to savings :)

I've had a lovely week off work and spend some seriously quality time with the smalls. We've done loads which is also good. Today included trip to the library for dd1 to sign up to the big book challenge summer thing. She loved it, I've also ordered 4 books on line for her.

I've been exchanging e mails with builder about getting our porch done, just need to measure with DH tomorrow and we'll see where we go from there.

Got a big haul of chill is for 20p ys today, will search some recipes and freeze those that don't get used.

Still can't decide what to do about one of the protection policies we have, not due for renewal until December but don't want to wait that long to decide.

I planted 3 tomato plants out probably too late today, but I can but hope. I found a big stick of a plant to tie them too, used left over bag ties to do that.

Bag of n3xt clothes arrived from vip sale. Checked them all, will keep but will do DD wardrobe for next year for about £35 and will get passed down as they last well. Plus pyjamas that I will put away as a Christmas present.

Happy with savings this month (I work payday to payday), hoping for the same or maybe a bit extra next month.

Done a handful of surveys today too, am nearing payout on one. Will keep an eye tomorrow. Right off to check some recipes. Night all.

Had a lovely last day of hols. Although still have the weekend :T took smalls out this morning so DH could sleep, went to library and free museum. Stayed clear of shop and cafe :A

Chilled out when back at home and had lunch at home, toasties etc...

After a bit more relaxing watching the cricket (:o) I finally got my bum in gear and went out t the garage. Sorted loads, another bag for CS. About 6 things for tip and listed another 6 on local book of face. Once sold. That's £5 to my coffers and a big space made. Lady also said did I have anymore, I have one more that might be available in a couple of weeks so will remember her and go direct before posting. Paid £5 to savings.

Payday so big money shuffle, accounts looking all lovely and where they should be.

DH birthday tomorrow, he has however, unwittingly moved his birthday gift I bought him and he can't remember where  so until it's found no gift. Ops.

Made a cake, mainly so I can use a few things from my use up Box. Also found 10 teabags of various flavours whilst rummaging in a cupboard, so they have gone in tin.

Moved some bags of spice (bought in bulk) to refill smaller pots so easier to use. Made some more space in cupboard.

All in all good day. Off to read some diaries on here. PF. :)

Ok, birthday present didn't turn up despite much searching. May have to brave the lift tomorrow  at least I can get my bag of fleabay goodies down if I go up there. Plus were having the rest of it insulated, floored and lit this week so a visit up there wouldn't do any harm

May try and do 30 minutes of accounts whilst DDs are watching tv before bed.

Local theatre was great, took in snacks from home so no extra spend. Will look out what else is on there.

Had bbq cobbled from things in freezer for tea rather than buying out for DH birthday. Spent £6.30 on box of beers, but think that's justified ;)

Found £4.50 in swimming bag, left £1.50 in for lockers and stashed £3 in my purse. Will pad to savings. Moved all change under 50p to change tub. Checked bags, not too far away from being able to bank as full.

    Listed an item on fleabay.

Off to enjoy evening with DH and watch last stage of Tour de France highlights. Hope it's as good as the cricket was today :T

Another item sold on fleabay :T another £5.11 to savings and one less item in the house. I've also wrapped it before i moved the cash ;) will post tomorrow.

I also made a pad today so accounts all a nice round number (apart from the savings one - obviously)

Lovely day with family, making great memories which are priceless. Lovely ended to lovely week off. Shame it has to end, but back to work tomorrow I go.

Have done a meal plan for the week to get me ready to go. Washing all up to date bar a few things and house is as tidy as it needs to be ;) need to get back to healthy eating, today has been breakfast out and two slices of cake :o

To ease me back in, I'm working from home tomorrow, need to call valuer tomorrow so they can come out for final bit of mortgage. Will do a liitle list in the morning to keep me on track.

Off to watch final highlights of Tour de France :T

Well it's survey day :D and I'm not complaining, finally got two surveys to take me over payout on 1pos. £10 voucher ordered, will go with one in purse. Just £5 to add to get handle for door :)

Earned £1 on one survey on 1poll, wasn't too long and tedious either back to double digits :)Got £3 credit for survey I did yesterday on p1necone, ordered it to payp8l - will go straight to savings pot.

Am pleased with progress here, also signed up to te5co 0rchard thing, £4 in vouchers coming my way :D first full month of 6% saving in action. Now a lovely £500 in a pot, how shiny and a lovely round number :j

Ordered a Christmas gift for sis from fleabay. Is a 2nd hand but discontinued thing that she collects, never seen this variation. Hope it's a lovely when it arrives.

Tensions running high in my head on another matter money related that raised its head today. Won't know outcome for a few days which makes it worse - if I'm right it could cost us a couple of thousand over the next two years. I'll be hopping  if that's the case. Mustn't worry until I know as stress levels will just go crazy - easier said than done.

Meal plan still on track, trying to keep food costs down, must keep on with this.

Paid man for finishing our loft insulation and flooring, plus a new light. Looks fab and will make storage easier. Plus I can get up there and sort properly now, so should hopefully find more stuff to sell or just declutter to CS. Must list a few items I already have on fleabay.

Working from home tomorrow, am looking forward to it, I have to say. Horrible, horrible commute tonight. Longing for job near home or home near work, knowing neither will happen so wondering not good for the soul either. Off for some sleep to restore balance.
