    You are doing a 50k?

:o hmmm yes, but not all in one go ;) aim is 50k over the month, so approximately a mile a day. I wish I could do it all in one go but 5k is about my limit. Having said that considering a year ago I couldn't run much past the end of the road it's not too bad.

Hope all is good with you bob lovely to see that sig coming down nicely. I've done part of mine, will update it further at some point.

    Morning frugalistas :hello:

Well the month is marching on and sunshine is here :T i love hanging my washing out to dry ,not having it hanging round the house is :T

Money saving continues, have juggled the budget and will pay £250 to cc2 this month, have already been making overpayments every day. This will take us below another significant number :D selling remains a focus 4 items will sell tomorrow, not big amounts but every little helps ;) I took 3 pairs of shoes back too :A

Need to find some more things to sell, I have tidied all my clothes (well drawers) and have a big bag for charity shop and found some tops I've not seen in a while :o

Family day today with bbq. Need to do some gardening at some point too, hopefully weather should encourage some of that this weekend :D

That's still fab though. I'm very impressed by anyone who manages to carry out structured fitness goals whilst parenting small children. The most I've managed since becoming a mum is a few 10ks. It's having the time to train. So well done you!

And thanks, I'm just so desperate to be rid of it now I am motivated by that :rotfl:

Impressed by the 10k (s) Bob I'd love to be able to run that far, it's so good for me both physically and mentally. Just not quite there yet (well not unless it can be well over an hour :rotfl:) I've managed 18km so far, so am tracking ahead for the month. Mr PF also getting in on the act and running for the first time in a long time :D loving being competitive too ;)

I sold 5 items on fleabay, 4 paid and wrapped to post tomorrow. Bought some packaging home from work that would have just gone in recycling. Duly used.

Won a pair of shoes for 99p, are a bit snug. Bag in bag to relist. Won another pair that were £4.50 new :D same shoe just one size up. They'll be prefect and do me for at least this summer, maybe next too :T

Donated last of some swim nappies I came across to friend. Have a big pack of normal nappies unused too, not quite sure why I haven't parted with them yet. Will add to my list.

Our blinds arrived :T really looking forward to them going up. Will try and sell one blind and a pair of curtains coming down. Other blind will go to recycling at the tip.

Loved the sunshine at the weekend, made the most if it. Had bbq (twice) and shop bought scones and clotted cream as a treat. Much cheaper than buying them out, especially as we had guests. Hoping this weekend good for weather too.

Off to double check I have all the information I might need tomorrow night for mortgage call and arrange to place order for my pt business for a couple of customers.

Maybe your thinking you might still need them? I kept a pack almost 7 years between DS and DD:rotfl:

Quite possibly Bob :rotfl: I've managed to get rid of everything else though (apart from cot bed which will go shortly) maybe it's just the last things that will be the hardest.

Just spent an hour and a half on the phone regarding mortgage. Wow, difficult. And I'm all over our finances -good job I had my magic spreadsheet and could produce required numbers at will :DNot sure how you would get on without that. Need to reflect on options and will call back later in the week.

Have had brief conversation with DH and I think I know where we are at. Will see.

Other news, finally managed to post those fleabay items. Sent some samples to a potential new customer (well outside my comfort zone) and got product at short notice for other (great service :p) they bought additional product too :D need to message her my bank details as she didn't have cash. Gave some samples to another lady I was with :)

Final fleabayer hasn't paid :( why is it always the most expensive that doesn't pay  will give another day and then tell them I'll relist. I can then do that Sunday ready for ending following Sunday.

Right off for a quick read of martins email, make a pad and then off to bed. Night all.

Happy Saturday frugal ones :D that was a tough week, think it made harder as last weekend was so lovely and relaxing, the week felt so brutal :o anyway weekend is here and I'm on countdown t holiday in a couple of weeks :T

DH and I decided which mortgage product we would ideally like. Called bank, our advisor is off until Wednesday so I'll hopefully get a call towards end of next week. Good news is that if it doesn't get set ready to start exactly when the other ends or payment only goes up by about £6 a month in the meantime so not awful.

Bought a dress for a wedding on fleabay. I have tried it in on in shop before so hopefully it will be as nice as I remember.

Must go for at least one run this weekend, although should be able to go Monday and Tuesday too so I'm planning for 3 days out of 4.

Couple more things to list on fleabay. Will try and list them today ready for next Sunday to end, will then hold off until I'm back from holiday. Aim to buy limited amounts of food between now and holiday so the cupboards are bare when we get back. I might do an online shop for the morning we are back.

DH got an unexpected annual bonus in his pay check yesterday. That will go to holiday money. I've made a big payment to one of our cc this month and have done next months budget for another one. It was originally due to be paid off in January, but new plan is September. :T then I can throw everything at the last one (already on a 0%)

    Enjoy your weekend everyone. PF.

Evening frugal pals, watching grand des1gns and thinking  at their budget and what they are spending on  at least it's giving me tips on what not to do :o

Today a lovely dress arrived from a high end high street store. However, came via fleabay :) good news is it fits :D 2nd good news it's a size smaller than I would normally get :D whilst I might not have lost lots if lbs, I feel my shape has changed a bit. Must be the running :) 12k in last 2 days, another 5, maybe 10 by Saturday - depends how achy I am. Have stretched lots tonight.

All fleabay sales have left the building, several more to list. Just need to find right window with holiday looming. May wait until I get back as I seem to get late payers. Plus I'd rather get more together and list loads together.

On debt front, cc2 is nearing a substantial milestone. One I didn't think we'd get to at this stage. Am very happy with this progress. It has made me realise how much 'free' cash we'd have if it wasn't for fixed outgoings. Not complaining, just reflecting bcant wait for that to be ours.

On decorating front, DH has whited all of platered (v big) room including plinths and windowsills. Next stage is final coat on one half of ceiling, final sand and coat of windowsills. Then blinds can go up. Curtains will wait, possibly until winter, although recycling one curtain pole as have found its brother on the t'interweb when where we bought it from 10 years ago had stopped selling them. Big windows, so will be a saving on having to buy two new. Need t give it a big clean whilst it's down.

3 big things left to do:
Hide radiator pipes in wall and put up new radiators. Just need to ask someone to come round
Then skirtings and new door - need to think best (and cheapest way)
Then flooring, we have picked, just need to book it in (and work out best way to fund from savings)

Right, off to check out amazing (but eye wateringly expensive) house on GD.
