So fingers crossed0 -
Everyone (bar stripey who hasn't turned up yet) has been deflead.
Pickle has had a telling off (not that she cared judging by the meow back lol) for jumping onto my dinner plate and running off with my chicken breast.
Tired now0 -
Stripey has been in
Had a dry
Had food
Had a play and a fuss
Been deflead
Stole tomcat's food
Thought he was going to be told off so shot out the door.0 -

:rotfl: It's a good thing Stripey was not witness to this, it might give him ideas. Dude's sister (Lisa) used to do exactly that kind of thing. We would have a morsel of food next to the plate, cooling off for her and, instead of waiting she would launch herself from the back of the settee and do a hit-and-run manoeuvre. She was a furry blur; one moment morsel was there, the next gone furever.0 -
I remember how I got my very first cat. It was raining heavily outside my house one day and I saw this cute white kitten shivering and getting wet in the rain. I immediately took her inside to my porch(we weren't cat lovers then) and gave her a piece and decided to keep her for the night.Next day when I checked her out she was burning with fever. I immediately took her to the vet. Vet said she needed proper care so that how snowbell became a part of our family. She is now five years old0

Got up
Tomcat still out (little sod)
Pickle hissing at
Stripey who was sleeping
So
Did food with a pickle determined to also have a love as they are all hers
Had to struggle to pickle in bedroom and stripey out
Small sweet meows from the battered mog
Very agressive meeeews and hisses from madam
He's out she's in the bedroom
Dogs are waiting for a walk
Hopefully tomcat will come home nowish0 -
No
But he did come back just as I was getting the leads on so that was nice0 -
How does Stripey seem, Mellymoo?
I can't understand why it takes a week to get blood test results back. Even in this backwater we are in, the small, not very sophisticated-looking from the outside (but excellent) veterinary practice we use do their own tests, in-house and you usually get them back the same day, even on a Saturday. Maybe they prioritise animals they already know are sick and/or in danger (as with lovely, little Lisa)
Here's hoping Stripey's come back clear.0 -
Really nervous
OH left him in when he picked me up (Heathrow again today)
We got in
Stripey looked at OH
Looked at the door and bolted for the bushe's got him back in with the aid of dreamies, he's had a love and has calmed down
Breath still a bit pongy
Don't think their in house smodlet never thought to ask.0 -
OHs heart is breaking at how nervous and scared stripey is.
I'm getting hIm used to my moving around whilst he's about stopping and giving dreamies regularly
He's sill so thin poor boy
He's had a full on proper rest just prettily asked for out so opened the door and reminded him to come home if he's tired, scared, cold, bored or hungry.0
