Pickles is a bit clingy
She has just nagged until I sat and gave her a big cuddle with kissing and had my hair cleaned.
She's finally gone out to play and I have come in to love the dogs now lol.
Me and OH have forgotten what the other one looks like without an animal attached.
Tiger can jump and get around OK his legs still look gammy bit nervous about Sat but we have decided as he isn't in pain (doesn't seem to be) is eating like a gannet we will keep him and make sure he is happy whatever the vet says.0 -
He hasn't had a home for a while as he's is only just getting clean.
He also still cowers and shoots off even after a love if people move too fast.
But
He now likes a love
He purred last night
He's stopped arguing with pickles he's just staring back but not fighting
He's started keeping himself clean
OH has been told really no more it's not fair on tomcat or picallilli
Thanks froglet we aren't especially kind, the cats have saved my OHS life so I will care for as many waifs as I can (3)0 -

But you are especially kind because you have chosen (or OH has convinced you) to take them in and look after them. You could have just called the RSPCA or some other animal refuge to take them in...
is 3 your limit? I only ask because my Hubby said 3 was our limit yet we had 5 for quite a few yearsMind you, we didn't have any other pets.

Pickle/lilli is probably feeling threatened as she is not as long established as Tomcat. She will realise there is enough food/space/love to go around, in time.
Stripeytiger could be in pain, though very much hope not, as they are so incredibly good at hiding it. Vet might suggest worming him as I imagine you have not tried this yet due to the trust needing to be built up? He probably just needs to build up his resources and get up to a healthy weight, poor thing. Maybe, when he builds up muscle, he will feel and walk better.
And you are kind, both of you, imho.0 -
No not wormed or deflead yet smodlet he needs to be a bit more comfy before we do so others have all been treated and im strongholding.
He is treatiing our house like a hotel, be didnt come back last night but was ojtside this morning lol
Had an emergency at work so not in oxford (well i am but im enroute to heathrow)

I do enjoy this thread.
I have various lovely feline critters trying to get into my house. Resident old girl ain't having any of it bless her. She is very territorial and even in old age suddenly reverts back to ninja-cat.
The people trying to get into my house are:
3yr old...very cheeky, will try to get in at any opportunity, and adorable.
5yr old....very cheeky, but is more freaked out by my old girl, so runs off quick....a cutie.
Mr.psycho......age unknown.....whereabouts known, but is a serial drifter and fighter. Weight is more than good...so has owner...and looks very happy with life. ...:D
My problem with a tortie.....will not tolerate anyone in her place. the first two she handles no problem (she is old) .....and a shame as they are lovely kittys and are young and want to be her friend.. however she goes nuts.
Last one, I worry about, as my kitty is old now, and not sure she could handle herself as she has mainly been a house cat and really isn't used to fighting.
The cats from across the road are really cute though, my girl doesn't even give them a chance.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
Calico you maybe right
Stripey is coming in, eating having a small nap and running out again.
Pickles hates him
The difference in the way she is with Tom (grooms his face, only barges him occasionally and plays with him a lot) and stripey (hiss, hiss, stare, hiss, smack and chase) is huge.
I am allowed to fuss Tom (for a bit) but not allowed to touch stripey or look at him currently0 -
