A few spends so far, but coming in at £92.62 so far this month including one large delivery. DH is working from home this week, so I'm using up lots of the OOD snacks that he can't take to work.
My new pantry list is taking shape - linseeds OOD June 2008 anybody? I foresee some wierd and wonderful concoctions in the coming weeks. But its already paid off. I nearly picked up cocoa for baking in Mr T as I wanted to do a beetroot chocolate cake and couldn't remember if I had enough. Checked on phone - 1.5 tubs. NO purchase. Running total £55
Restocking the freezer with a muscle food order = £44.90
20 x Turkey Breast Steaks, 36 x Chicken Breast Sausages, 12 x Lean Chicken Meatballs
Interim total £100That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Oooh. I've used MF for steak etc, but haven't tried the sausages and meatballs. How are they? I've always thought they might be a bit bland.
I'm trying to put off an order until the end of this month, but we had the last of July's steaks for DH's birthday at the weekend. However, we do still have 10 of their huuuuge chicken breasts. Hmmm. Curry and Dirty Rice coming up I think.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Not bad.
The sausage are nice in a casserole but a bit dry cold. The meatballs I cook in a spicy sauce.
If you're trying things, the giant meatballs are sooo filling. I struggle to eat 3.
If you're interested, I've a code for £10 off a £50 spend from hotdeals. Not sure when it expires. PM me if you want it.That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

I am really trying to cut back this week but had to get some peanut butter today so that brings the total so far to £111.87 which means I have £63.13 for the rest of the month. I will hopefully do it, but will need to eat out of the freezer and cupboards. I am going to try swede chips tonight, done in the oven with a couple of sausages and something else but not sure what.must say NO to impulse buys!GC March Challenge £182/200

Today I was going to go to the shop to get some bits and bobs, but then I stopped myself and realised that they were things I wanted, not yet needed, as today I made Lasagna and Chilli con carne is in the slow cooker for tomorrow.
I used half the mince required in both recipes, and just bulked up with veg. Win for meDebt free challenge 2017. Catalogue: £227.31 / £2025.28 (£1797.97 remaining!)0 -
Hi All
DD has just done a massive big shop from AL8i's ready for my sister visiting. ?Yes I am excited. Shop includes 6 bottles of pinot as she does like a refreshing slug. I am a non drinker so just buy whatever she is currently on. Anyway back on topic, massive shop, weeks groceries and party goodies, total came to 53.77 not too shabby! and an impulse melon. Will update signature now.
Happy tuesday everyone

I buy from muscle foods quite a bit. I always wait until there is a special deal on for bulk buying. Theres a FB page called feed your family for £20 a week, and they often have special codes they have exclusively for their facebook followers.
I love their meatballs,they are huge! And their chicken breasts are too,and aren't full of water.Debt free challenge 2017. Catalogue: £227.31 / £2025.28 (£1797.97 remaining!)0
