Rubbish day - after the manic day yesterday I was struck down with one of the worst migraine's I've had in a year. Still felt awful this morning, but went into work. Once I got there even scrolling on my email inbox was making me nauseous, so I came home. It's annoying as I don't get sick pay, and I haven't had a sick day since I got my new salary early this year, so not even sure how much I'll be down by. Will have to readjust next month's budget to allow for it. And none of the painkillers are working so at this rate I'll be off tomorrow too :( No spends but also no earnings for today, feel so sad :(

Back to work today, even though my head isn't 100% :( Need to power on through.
Got a hospital appointment which my mum will take me to so I don't have to waste time trying to find a parking space.
I will take it easy the rest of the day so should be another NSD. I have food at work for lunch, and don't have any plans tonight either (bf is watching West Ham play *rollseyes*).
I did put some games up on eb@y last night, some interest but no takers yet. One is v popular so will go soon I'm sure. Still waiting for someone to pay for an item they wont last minute on Sunday - I get the feeling it won't happen and I'll have to relist :( I was so happy to finally be rid of that item as well!

Anyway I hope anyone is reading has a brilliant day! Sending positive vibes as I need some :D

Well it wasn't a NSD....had to go and pick up my prescription, but I am counting that spend out of my health fund that I paid into earlier this month. Then went to Tesco and bought some bits for work lunches for the rest of the week, and some sensations which were £1 because really I enjoy them :D So that was £4.99 spent.

Headache still awful :( Need to stop taking the painkillers as they are bad for my digestive system, but my head needs them :( oh the drama.

My buyer still hasn't paid on eb@y, so I've sent them a nice message saying please let me know what you are doing, and if you don't want the item let me know.....after that I think I will have to raise a case for non-payment. I gave them 3 days so I think that's plenty of time!! First time having to do this as well so want to do everything by the book just in case.

    Quick update from me....
Buyer finally paid, and I had another item finish last night that was immediately paid for (see, that's how you do it!) So packaged them this morning and as my mum has more stuff to post she will do that for me :D
Annoyed as I was supposed to have some money become available in paypal, but the date has now moved from today (21st April) to May.......Don't understand it? I can't wait until I no longer have to wait 21 days for my money to become available!! I want it in my deposit fund now! :D
Might be a NSD, but I have a long run scheduled today, and I will probably do it, so may go out and buy some gummy sweets to eat in the afternoon as they give me a bit of a boost. Either way it won't be a big spend.
Will try and get the rest of the games up on eb@y tonight, we shall see how my motivation goes.
Finished a book last night - The Rest Of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness. Read it in a day and a half, which was what I needed as I haven't really been into my books that I am reading and was getting into a slump. Saying that though, it wasn't a good book at all really.....nice premise, poor execution. Guess that's what I get for reading overhyped books!

Anyway I better start my day...have a good one everyone! :)

    Final update for today-
Spent £1.10 on haribo to have before my run. Must've worked as I did just shy of 4 miles in 38 minutes, and felt good, especially considering I skipped two runs due to knee and head.
Now I'm looking at (replica) designer earrings on eb@y that aren't even that cheap really....but I really want them....but I'm trying to be good. I thought if I wrote that here then maybe I'd shame myself into not buying them lol. TBC....

Hi how often would you wear the earrings? Work out cost per wear? :)

Hi how often would you wear the earrings? Work out cost per wear? :)

Yes, so I thought about it long and hard, and can confirm....I bought them :o They were £9.95 so didn't really break the bank, and I want to start making more of an effort day to day, and I think having a nicer pair of earrings will help me feel more put together. And they will be nice for going out as well, sometimes I don't want to wear dangly earrings none of my other studs are very special (think Primarni!) I think they will work out as a good purchase. (I also discussed it with my mum and she agreed they were lovely LOL. I always need reassurance when buying things I think I don't really *need*. If only I put that much thought into all my purchases!)

I put some more of bf's games online last night, and one sold after half an hour, so that will be posted today.

I need to get my car cleaned today...usually I would do it myself, but there is bird business on there, and I don't really fancy removing that myself (call me squeamish, don't care! :P) So will probably do that after work, only costs me £3 for a basic wash as I have a small car.

Work is normally quiet on a Friday so might be able to get some Swagbucks done. Been slacking a bit the past couple of weeks but I seem to be screened out of a lot of surveys atm as I don't have children!:rotfl:

Wooohoooo I've had £5.11 come available in paypal, so that's gone straight into the deposit fund. How strange for it to become available at half 8 at night, but whatever, I'm not complaining! :D

Spent £15.70 in Tesco on cat treats, people treats (for me, including wine) and food for work lunch next week. Didn't get my car washed in the end as it's raining and really, what's the point when it's raining!

I'm having a glass of red and loving life as it's Friday! Have a great one everyone

Ah what a nice weekend :D

Yesterday was a no spend day, did some cleaning, hoovered my car which I've been meaning to do for weeks, and some yoga. Then stayed at my bf's and he got us a takeaway.

Today we went into town, which was a bit spendier than anticipated, got a cafe breakfast and as my bf paid last night I paid for breakfast, so that was £9.90. Tthen we went to Primarni, where I did £27 quid's worth of damage. But, for that I got three pairs of underwear, 7 pairs of socks, 2 tops for work (which I am really really pleased with, both lovely quality for the money) and a top which will be lovely for evenings on holiday. I haven't been in there for ages and sometimes it seems like a load of toot, but when you actually dig deep you can find some real gems.
Then we went to Sports Direct and got a knee support and a water bottle for my long runs, so that was £7.99.
Then went to Sainsbobs and got some eggs for work (will cover me for about 2 week's worth), 4 week's worth of breakfast bars, some gummy sweets and a loaf of bread for £9.05.

So all in all that cost me £53.94:o which is more than I really wanted to spend, but I feel I got a lot for it, and food especially which will last me for a while.

Now need to reign it in as I don't have much left for the rest of the week until payday on Friday.

Had a bid on an item ending today on eb@y so that will go, and had some interest on the games but mostly stupid bids for big titles. I've actually done a very good price for them on BIN as it is, and then you get insulting bids for best offer...I understand "don't ask don't get" and everyone wants a bargain, but seriously I'm not going to give you a massive title, almost brand new for £3............

I'm going to do some more life admin bits before preparing for my long run today. I'm worried about my knee as it really hurts when I walk, but I really really don't want to give up the half marathon. I think it's the tendon behind my knee that connects my knee to my calf. I'm only 25 and feel like I'm falling apart atm :(

That's me for now....hope anyone that is reading has had a lovely weekend :A

    Happy Monday :p

My run yesterday was 7 miles in 1 hour 10 mins :o I was scheduled to do 1 hour 5 mins (my training schedule is based on time running rather than distance) but I felt good on the last stretch so made myself go those extra 5 mins. Was a killer though, legs are slowly getting more sore as the day goes on!

Today should be a NSD, not planning on spending anything so will declare it now.

Finished a book last night, Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. It was a good sci-fi book, but not sure how relevant the message is for nowadays...

I meant to say, but my concealer has been running out for a while, but in the spirit of money saving, I cut into it (it's a tube) and there's a good month-2 month's worth left over in that tube. Amazing how much you waste if you don't cut the tubes open before throwing away! I was going to use my boots points to buy a new one, but decided I'd use up every scrap of this one before doing that.

    That's me for now!
