Breakdown of what I spent last month:
Food- £100.22 (this includes work food, food to have with bf, and random snacks. Could be better but I'm sure I used to spend a lot more a few months ago!)
Eating out - £46.23 (will be more this week as I have some meals out planned)
Petrol- £45.49 (normally around £40 but the ptrol prices have gone up so much I think I can expect this to stay the same of even higher!)
Parking/car- £5 (all on parking, not too bad for a month)
Health - £15 (opticians appointment, which is important!)
Clothes - £10.99 (brilliant for me!)
Travel - £19.08 (includes travel into London, and an uber)
That's not my total for the whole month as there were some other miscellaneous spends, but I thought it would be good to have the spends in categories too! Will try to do it once a month to see where I am spending more than others.0 -
Illness update, think I've got some type of flu because my neck is horrendously sore, feel shaky, hot, achy.......tbc.
I went to the SM to buy some nightnurse (£4.20) and food bits for work and some chocolate (because that's essential). £17.06 on the food bits.
I'm going to take some NN and try and get an early night (always say it and then end up reading for an hour and going to bed as usual anyway!)
Not much else to report, tomorrow should be an NSD but might end up seeing the bf as I didn't see him tonight so we'll see.0 -
I hope you feel better very soon, take careDebt Apr 15 - £6895.44
Apr 17 - £2500
Dec 17 - £560

Quick update - made a small payment into savings, was NSD1 of Feb, and still have a horrific headache. Will take another night nurse tonight and hope it's better by tomorrow!0

I did a small payment today, feeling a little bit better but head gets bad towards the end of the four hour period after I've taken my cold meds (so when the next lot is due). Hoping to be better for this weekend so I can do a long run!
The girls in the office ordered pizzas in for lunch, had a 50% off code so I owe my colleague £8.56 for mine (will give £9 to round up).
Realised, after reading the MSE website, that I can buy restaurant vouches using my clubcard points. Not sure how I never knew this before, Tesc0 is the only SM I really shop at as it's so convenient for me, so I've not been making the most of these points at all!! Anyway, the bf and I are going to Zizzi tomorrow night, it's been planned for a while, so I've used £2.50 of my points to buy a £10 voucher for Zizzi :money: very pleased with that, will cut the bill right down!0 -
Hello diary,
Just woke from a nap, not napped in ages!
Yesterday I didn't spend anything else other than pizza money (although need to give this to my colleague on Monday I've counted it in Friday's spend). I really fancied a bottle of wine as work draw to a close, but I decided to not give into temptation, and to save the money as a) I knew I'd be having wine tonight and b) I wanted to get up in the morning and run 8 miles.
This morning I got up and watched some tv, and went for my run. It was more a run with scheduled walks, as my trainers are really hurting me now (aiming to get some more tomorrow). Then got home and did some yoga, had some lunch, and did some general cleaning and tidying up. Also hoovered and emptied the rubbish out of my car, which is a task I've been putting off for AGES. Still haven't washed the outside but it's at the point now where I think I need to go to a car wash place. Will aim to do that next week.
Will need to start getting ready for dinner and drinks tonight. I've been looking forward to this for agesJust checked my projected spends for tonight and I wanted to do £50 max. With the £10 voucher we have that should be doable. BF also ran today so wants to go mad at the restaurant, he always has starters and wants desserts which I never did before I got with him! I will try and reign him in and if he needs a starter we can share one! If we have one drink in there it's not so bad, and we'll be drinking in a spoons so it is pretty reasonable price wise.
Hope everyone's having a good weekend!0 -
Boo wrote an entry and the page lost it
Went to the Zizzi last night as mentioned. Got the bus into town for £1.50, they had a 3 course menu for £15.95 each so didn't use the tesc0 voucher, will save for another time. Set menu and one drink came to £20.80 each. Then we went to the local spoons, a couple of rounds each, I paid £7.25 and £6.14, and then paid for the uber home which was £5.37.
Today we were meant to go get me some new trainers, but after talking to bf I decided my current running trainers weren't old enough to warrant a new pair. So instead I got a pair of gel inserts for £20, see how they go. Then went to pets@home, got my cat a new toy for half price, £1.75, yes he's spoilt lol
Then went to our local Tesc0, while there I put my car into the car wash for £6. Bf had a £10 gift card for Costa so we had a coffee and toastie each. I got chocolate, cat treats, bread and milk for £6.70.
Total for this weekend £75.51. Bit more than predicted but the running stuff was meant to be borrowed from my bf so would've been in next month's budget. As it is I will just take the £20 and look at reducing something else.
The rest of today I will do some general tidying and organising, hoover, and have a long bath as my legs are killing me after yesterday's run! Also planning on reading some of my book
ETA I'm thanking my past self because I thought I would need to replace my mascara at £9.99 - turns out I'd bought a spare when I bought my last one, so luckily don't have to fork out for a new one!0 -
I would say Happy Monday but I got barely no sleep so feel like a zombie this morning. My stomach started playing up right as I tried to go to sleep, que me getting up for the loo every 20 minutes. Fun.
I made another purchase last night, on ebay, but it was planned as I've been needing a new phone case for a while (the rubber on mine is peeling off), wanted to get it off @mazon but need to spend £20 for free shipping. So, found a similar one for £5.28 on there and ordered it.
This morning I've ordered some acetone off @mazon to remove my gel nail polish(fulfilled by a different company so can buy on it's own), that was £3.07. Naughty I won't get an NSD now but it's necessary I swear!
I did a small payment to my savings yesterday, gonna hold off on it for the next few days as I want to wait for all my payments to go out of my account until I do another one. Hopefully by Wednesday/Thursday they'll all have gone through so I'll know exactly how much I've got to play with.0 -
Started to feel really rough last night, so had an easy yoga session, and went to bed early with some night nurse. Felt a bit better this morning but could've done with a couple more hours but hey gotta work!
The low fuel light came on in my car this morning, wasn't sure what the noise was at first as I've never heard it before :rotfl: I think it should get me to the local petrol garage on the way home from work. I wanted to eek it out till tomorrow but I got stuck in traffic on the way into work so it ate it up. Oh well I will poodle it down to the garage later and hope I'm ok
Once I've got my petrol I will look at how much I've spent total this week...I think it will be more than predicted as I bought the running insoles. My mum made it lunch last night with some leftover chicken, so that helps me out massively0 -
Annoyed with myself, I had £20 to cashout with cashbackearners but they don't immediately freeze the funds when the payout is processing, so I managed to buy a bingo card on there which I thought was 1p, turns out it was £1 so now I'm back to £19 and I'm sure my cashout won't process as it's £20 minimum
I'm so used to these websites removing the funds once you've requested a cashout, so you don't *see* that money anymore. Oh well live and learn.
Went a bit off plan yesterday and filled up my car with petrol rather than just putting in £10. Cost me £48.27  When I first got my car a couple of years ago a tank only cost me £40! The price of petrol near me is so bad at the moment and just keeps rising, so thought I might as well just do it while I was at the SM which is the cheapest place to do it for me.
So total spent last week (1st-7th) was£168.11.
My goal was:ChicaBonita wrote: »Week 1 - Weds 1st - Tue 7th
petrol - £10
SM- £20
night out sat- £50
Misc £10
which was £90 total, but considering I bought the insoles for £20, and filled up my tank, it's not too bad. Without those it brings it down to around £100.
The next 3 weeks will look a bit different as I don't have to factor in the petrol, and I'm also hoping that I can eek it out until the first week of March.
I did try my insoles last night and did a mile run, but my feet did still hurt hmm....will try a long one tonight to see if wearing them in a bit helps.
Today should be a NSD (first in a while it seems!).0
