Today has not gone to plan - woke up with an infection I get semi-regularly, so had to call in sick and go to the docs to get antibiotics. I pay for my prescriptions but I took the money from my health fund so won't count that.
On the downside, it means I won't be able to go out tomorrow evening as I can't drink - on the upside it means I wont spend on drink and taxis.
I spent £14.35 in Tesco today so not a NSD, but I suppose balanced with the fact I won't go out tomorrow it's fine.0 -
Went to the hairdressers to day - £47. Also nipped into primark (naughty) - spent £19 on four tops - one is a style I wear already so will be good for work, two casual tshirts and a going out top. Bonus was one was labelled as £10 but rang up as £5! Love it when that happens. Got a lift there and back from my mum so no travelling costs. Did buy lunch in greggs though, so £3 there.
I shouldn't be spending anything tomorrow, so I'm going to call it now. I spent £167.06 which is £12.56 more than I planned - not perfect but could've been worse. I think I will do this for next week as well as I think it kept me more in line.0 -
Up early today as I had to take bf to a course he's doing.
Had an eb@y sale last night, so will package that and send tomorrow. It's motivated me to go through my stuff and get more stuff up there. It is worth doing it when the money comes in, but I go ages without a sale it seems! Hopefully as it comes closer to christmas (it's closer than we think!) people will start buying more. I've already put one item up, have a few more to put up as well. Got to the point again where I desperately need to declutter again.
Today will be a NSD and I'm not going anywhere. Feeling better now so maybe some yoga later. Going to finish a long book I've been reading (900 pages!) and also finishing up Gossip Girl which I've been marathoning on netflix. BF and I started Stranger Things on Wednesday and watched 3 more last night - really enjoying it, wasn't sure that I would. Bit cheesy at times, and can see the Stephen King influence, but will keep watching.
I'm going to write another weekly spend list as I found it helped last week - will do that next.0 -
Spend list -
Monday - EDIT - will be NSD
NSD 5
Tuesday - go to tesco for work food - £10
NSD 6
Wednesday - not sure what I'm doing yet. I always see BF on Wednesdays but I will budget £20 in case we do something else other than have dinner in.
£5 to dartcharge and £15.58 in Tesco
Thursday - should be NSD
Nope - £3.25 coop, £3.55 in costa waiting for car wash, £7 to get car washed (£1 of that was a tip as the birds had really gone to town on my car!!)
Friday - should be NSD
60p to inflate my tires
Saturday - I might be going to Canterbury to see old uni friends - I'd drive and should be able to park at my friend's place if I go. I'm going to budget £60 because I've no idea what we have planned.
Ended up going out £41 spent all told
Sunday - might be going into town with the bf - £10 - ETA forgot he has football so should be a nsd!
Earrings - £20(although they are gorgeous)
Total - £100
Actual total £95.98. So although I didn't spend on what I planned to, it worked out in the end!
A lot of the above is speculative as I've no real idea what I'm doing on certain days as plans aren't solidified. But if I can keep to £100 or below I'll be happy.0 -
Yesterday was NSD 5, and today will be NSD 6. The dinner I made last night was enough to do work lunch for today and tomorrow, so will only have to go to Tesco once this week on Wednesday0

Forgot to mention my bf is going to Paris to work in a couple of weeks, there is an opportunity for me to go for a couple of days, I would be on my own while he's at work but that's ok. I would only have to pay to get there, and ofc spending money. It's not confirmed, but I also have to work out if I can afford it..... I've never actually been to Paris properly (I don't count stopping in the city for half an hour on our drive to Disneyland 10 years ago!) so I think if I can do it I should. Hmm...0

Well Paris definitely isn't happening, which is no doubt a good thing as I couldn't really spare the cash anyway!
Yesterday was a NSD, today I will have to go to Tesco but my budget is £20 max which I'm sure I can do as I only have to buy bits for dinner tonight, and some chicken for work lunch for the next two days.
Will update my sig as I've moved £11.93 from my paypal into my house fund..0 -
Money spent yesterday not too bad - £5 to dartcharge for my weekend trip and £15.58 in Tesco.
Got to go to the PO to post an eb@y sale today, might buy lunch in the coop as I'm a bit low today, might cheer me up.
Thinking about tracking my surveys etc each day to encourage me to keep at it. Went on onepoll for the first time in ages and had loads of surveys, and also had a couple on PA for the first time in a week.
PA - £1.55
Onepoll - £1.30
Swags - 85 SB
Casback earners - 4p
Let's see how long I keep this one up!0 -
I did do my surveys yesterday -
PA - 0
Onepoll - 0
Swags - 54 SB
CB- 5p
Will try to do them today although I always struggle to do them on a laptop.
I dunno what it is with me at the moment but I'm so tired and so flat all the time. I just don't feel normal. I'm not sure if it's because I'm so frustrated at work, or what, but I'm having a real low stage.
I did buy something from a FB group. It was really naughty, but technically I used my birthday money, and I know I will love it. I'm actually super excited for it to arrive so I don't really feel that guilty lol. But I'm going to wait until it arrives to declare it in case something goes wrong *touch wood*
I'm not going to Canterbury today for various reasons, but I will be going for a couple of drinks tonight locally, so will still spend some money. Hoping for £30 max.0 -
Ended up going out last night. Was a good night, but we decided it was a good idea to get a family bucket of chicken for two of us at the end of the night. Absolute gluttony and chicken overload. Feel like I don't need to eat anything at all today! £41 spent between uber, drinks and chicken.
Today will be a standard lazy Sunday, currently have a cat baking biscuits on my legs. Although I'm contemplating putting a bag up for sale that I got for xmas and will just not use. Really should go to someone who will use it, plus I need the money!
Dropped a hot pair of hair tongs on my toe last night - typically the place where my shoe hits my toe (open toe) so after having a stinging toe all night I now have a lovely bubble where the burn is. This is why I never do anything fancy with my hair!!:rotfl:0
