Mine went up £2.25, I called Sky and told them that when i was taking the contract out i agreed one price and was not told there would be a step price increase. They have agreed to credit my account with the extra cost. Worth calling up.Jan Wins: .0

I haven't received any correspondence from them at all about it.
Need to dig out my T&Cs I think just incase, however I don't mind a £1 increase (or even £2) as it's a lot smaller than the increase I had from Virgin in Feb.0 -

Don't waste time reading your T&Cs, the ability to raise prices is very definitely in there!;)0 -
I'm a new sky customer. I was offered line rental..unlimited broadband..complete sky package movies and sports channels inc and full HD for £97 per mth.
I haggled until I eventually got the lot for £57 per mth0 -
Does anyone know of a current email address for customer services at Sky? I want to discuss my TV package but hate actually talking to them! The site keeps telling me I can manage my account online but, oddly, it seems whatever I try to manage isn't available to be managed without a call... funny that...0

I have Sky, for 19 years and seven months. I ordered Q, all fine.
Then I hear about this loyalty deal, so I ring Sky, oh, "you are not eligible as you had a break". (one year break when I was short on cash).
"Fine" I said, "cancel the lot".
Regrettably, I have to keep the basic package until November as its in contract as I took a deal earlier last year.
Over and over again, "I am going to cancel the order for Sky Q".
"Yes I understand, go ahead".
"You will get all the features of Q, on your tablets etc...."
"Are you going to give me the loyalty deal?"
"Unfortunately sir as you.....blah blah blah"
"I want the order canceled"0 -

You can use the online chat feature - if they have any advisors available. I managed to do it the other day when I logged in around 9am but couldn't in the evening, so I think mornings are the best time to try. You'll still need to allow plenty of time, as they will drag it out as long as they can!0 -
i read your price hike page for june last year and it said sky was only allowed to increase the price once in the first year but didn't see it on the page for this years hikes
i joined sky in sep 2015 just the original package with phone and fibre, they already increased my price by £1 in November and just received an email to say they are going to put it up further by another £1.50, are they allowed to put it up again? and also being a new customer in the price table on the page it says i shouldn't be having a price increase as i only have a original tv bundle
thanks for any advise
They annually increase the cost of tv (not all packages) in the summer and phone/broadband (usually line rental) in the autumn. These two are considered to be separate services.
The Original package did not have a rise last June, but this year the it is £2,on full price.
The year before (not my first year), I was on Variety, yet was still not charged any increase.0 -

Yes,though you may be lucky, in that they don't apply an increase (I wasn't charged one last year on my half price Variety)0 -
My first year Sky deal was coming to an end at the end of the month, and the new price hike in June would have resulted in a 134% increase! I got on the phone to Sky and used MSE's Sky haggling guide and managed to get a 35% discount on the price after the June hike for 9 months! Happy with that!0
