Daffs have been deadheaded so front looks much brighter, now the nice ones are in the majority again. Wm loaded and set going, line full of early morning washing that Dh started when he woke. A loads of pens that were piled on the table have been checked for no working ones - rubbish ones thrown and good ones put away.
Going to bag a load of stuff I've been putting by for the CS then do something off the lists till work.SPC~12 ot 124

Keeping everything crossed for CY today.
Feel a little stressed/anxious at the minute, not sure why except that we seem to have a lot going on.
Both jobs today, need to pop home in between to see DS1 and the dog. Have a good day everyone.
I don't think the 2 periods of illness are the issue its cos I've had over 5 days off for appointments for me and youngest and due to kids Inset days being different to school I work at. Tbh I like the job but I do it cos I want to not just for the money so can leave and do some voluntary work at my kids school instead if it become too stressful and clashesHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0 -

Catching up since my post yesterday....
Natty - hope you feel better soon. :grouphug:
Bossy - Glad you've finally got notice and master moo is feeling brighter
Narco - Thanks for the reminder that DD has a kindle. No idea what model etc it is but just discovered it needs charging so plugged that in now lolI've also just connected it to the wifi since its all new
CY - Hope today goes smoothly and DD2's fiance is better soon :grouphug:
Pigpen - Hope Squeak gets better soon.
Dizzy - I hear you on the just wanting junk food. I have salad, fruit and a water filter jug yet I'm craving crisps, cookies, coffee (although its always decaf after the first two cups or I'd be up all night), cheese, processed chicken like kievs, chips... I'm seeing a pattern here:rotfl: I lost two stone in 2014 into 2015 then last April when I got really ill it all went to pot and I've piled nearly a stone back on.
:( Now I'm back to needing to loose at least 4!
Mommyroys - hope today goes okay :grouphug:
Frizzle - funnily enough my Sk* internet wasn't working the other morning when I got up. It was my own router so I switched it out to the one they supplied and now it's working again
Hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes as wanted/needed to all.
Attacked the kitchen yesterday with the washing up and get the worktop & hob scrubbed but got sidetracked by work for the rest of the day. I'm trying not to work evenings when I don't have to so I can spend time with DD but it's not always easy and pointless when she'd rather be in her room playing her guitar.
Spoke to ex last night and DD is now going to spend the end of the weekend at his. He won't be here until Saturday afternoon due to commitments he has late Friday so I suggested she spent the night at his, he said she could stay until Monday if she wanted which she doesNow I just need the weather forecast to improve and I might be able to go out and do something! If not then I can spend the weekend catching up with all my programmes on the dvr or reading in peace if I've got my new glasses by then. I'm having to enlarge the print on the screen to use the computer for any period of time, I don't really have that option with my books :rotfl:
Today is a work day so I need to get on with that, although I have extra time today as DD is at her club. Downstairs isn't so bad, but I need to groom Zack again (didn't do it yesterday and I can tell by the fur balls!), wash up and vacuum through. I already have a wash load on, so will hang that out, and I have 4 more that need to be done I think (got to love the amount of washing produced when you strip 2 beds and both have showers daily) so that will count as my breaks to get up and move when I've been sitting too long
This week:
Sort store card for DD to give to her friend to give to her mum (should have been done nearly 2 weeks ago)
Order in Tuesday
Buy Easter treats for kids (5 needed)
Prep as much as possible before next weeks delivery
Finish reading my book
Get DD sorted for going away
Back up phone & update ios
and probably more things that I can't remember lol

When in doubt, and I can't find what I need to know, I turn to my Flylady friends - albeit this has less to do with flying and more to do with a relationship breakdown.
Without going into details, I have been asked to 'advise' someone who is separating from her husband re their finances. Apart from the fact this is not an area I have knowledge of, I do want to remain as neutral as possibly to both parties. It started amicably - that was five days ago, and now it is less so. I have it in my mind that there is some sort of mediation you can do, but I might have made that up. Can anyone give me pointers, information or websites that I can pass on?
Always lovely to see you all here, getting on so well.Work is not my Hobby0 -

mediation is now compulsory for divorcing couples.. if they are not eligible for legal aid then it is around £100+ vat so not cheap but cheaper than a solicitor.
They are advertised in the yellow pages, online etc but and solicitors should be able to point them in the right direction.

Mrs_B I hope your friends get sorted out without it getting too messy, it's not nice being stuck in the middle if you are friends with both.
Just filled 7 big bags for the CS and one for the clothes bank.
Going for a quick walk down the clothes bank then ringing the CS to see if it's open goodfriday if not it will have to wait until Saturday.
Might even grab a quick coffee before work.SPC~12 ot 124

Nice to have a day off when the sun is shining!
I'm struggling with a chesty cold, I just want to sleep until it's over but thats not an option. DH is away.
I've been hunting for my keys which vanished on Sunday night when i got in from work. No joy so far. Im licked in thd house so will havd to go out the back door to collect DD2 from school.
Amidst key hunting I've been decluttering. I have a huge pile for the wheelie bin but can't get to it!
Off to resume my search!0
