The game is on.
Won't have to listen to Angus Robertson for much longer, happy days.0 -

I'll take that and put it in the same box as adhering to guidelines is not correct.TrickyTree83 wrote: »Angus Robertson's speech in parliament today openly admitted they are against having it, yet in the next sentence said they welcome it, interesting logic.
I clarified this earlier"We are supporters of the Fixed Term Parliament Act, and that means that parliaments should go their term.
Mr Robertson insisted he "absolutely" relished the prospect of an election, and said the SNP would be contesting every seat in Scotland with the intention of winning them.
He said the vote "will be an opportunity for us in Scotland to at least get some insurance against the worst excesses of a hard-right Brexit, which is what the UK government is steering towards".
Mr Robertson also confirmed that the SNP winning a majority of seats in Scotland would not be enough for the country to become independent - with a referendum needed to decide the issue.TrickyTree83 wrote: »Edit: Your part in bold is something I've also argued.
It's a wasted vote, you'd be better off voting for the Lib Dems in terms of achieving socialist policies at Westminster.
Sorry, I need to call you up on that one.
Thats absolute b0llocks

Its not a wasted vote, its an opportunity once again to show that the Scottish electorate are not in alignment with the government policies or those of the traditional opposition.
Its an opportunity to show that we want to have control over our future and ensure that we are not over exposed to austerity cuts that the conservatives proposed.:wall:

Sorry but a lot of Scottish people are supporting the UK government.
I am so fed up with people thinking that we are all "little sheep" and follow everything the Scottish Government do or want. (SNP)
The SNP are not a party looking after their own people, they are only interested in independence and cannot do the job they were elected to do.0 -

I liked May's response to Angus Robertson earlier in PMQ's:
Did you?
Were they with foundation?
It's evident that Theresa May says one thing but can mean another.
Just on a couple of the points she said in your quote: -- Record health funding - over £13 billion in 2017, £3.6 billion more than when they took office
- Higher exam passes up by a third since 2007, they’re investing record amounts in schools to close the attainment gap. £120 million will go direct to schools this year alone

Sadly it seems that some insist upon denying that.
So much so that they feel they need to resort to swearing.
As I said before, these numbers of staunch pro-SNP supporters are decreasing.
As will soon be seen.0 -

I wish more of the MP's spoke like Angus Robertson.
To the point, succint and holding the government to account as opposed to some wishy washy, back slapping, old school gesticulations that go on in the Westminster chamber:wall:

Hahaha
I must have missed the last GE when the SNP stood in every constituency in the UK in order to get into government...
It's a wasted vote.
I also never said adhering to guidelines was wrong, but I have said the guidelines themselves are wrong.
It's like debating with a whirling dervish, which way are you going to turn next to get out of the hole you've dug for yourself?
Edit: If Angus Robertson supports the fixed term parliament act, then he must also support what's gone on today since that is in accordance with that act.
Unless those are not his words? If they are his words he gets his knickers in a twist as much as you.0 -

re:1Scotland's largest health board flag up high levels of failure in dozen key areas including early cancer detectionScotland’s NHS faces massive cuts as the health service fails to keep pace with increasing demand, rising costs and the needs of an ageing population, according to the public finances watchdog. The damning report from Audit Scotland warns that some NHS boards may not be able to balance their books next year, and reveals that the service met only one of its eight key waiting time targets last year.
Re:2SNP under fire as Scottish education system records worst ever rating for maths, reading and scienceMSPs vote against SNP over ‘failing’ Scots education system
You want more?
There's plenty.
So I would hazard a wild guess and say ......... plenty of foundation for what May said.
And I'm no great fan of May at that.0
