    I get that but ...
It's slightly different when the basis for calling for a new indy ref is because too many people voted to leave
They're hardly likely to have made much of a difference but all the same it would be a bit rich voting to leave, decrying the result and then demanding to stay in the EU
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Lol.. and how many Tory MP's voted Remain ? :)

Is irrelevant, everyone knows there are SNP voters and officials who voted Leave. But the fact remains that the majority of Scots voters voted to Remain and want to stay in the EU. Sturgeon would be the biggest political fool on the planet to ignore that 62% in order to go along with the wishes of just 38% of voters.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

    No idea
What's the relevance to the SNP calling for a ref?

The aftermath of such subversive SNP drone action leads to this.

Probably the same as SNP msp''s voting leave ... 62% in Scotland voted remain the SNP are ensuring their democratic vote is respected ... even if it's not what they personally wanted ... it's called doing the job yer paid to ... ensuring they are looking after the people of Scotland as per their voting intentions

Not really hard to work out is it ?

As a last resort because Scots voters apparently want to stay in the EU and in the UK.

If it comes to it, they'll have to be collectively asked which one it's to be via a referendum.

I imagine it's up to the individual to state how they voted ... after all voting is a private matter ... maybe some have stated maybe others not ... either way it doesn't change the result

What is irrelevant is the complete nonsense about the Scottish majority wishing to remain in the EU.
If you say it often enough do you hope people may start to believe that this rubbish is correct?
This was a referendum to gauge public opinion.
It was well known that it was not binding on Parliament,so by default our votes in Scotland were worth no more or less than any other UK vote.
We overwhelmingly voted to remain in the UK and therefore agreed to accept the majority opinion.

That the duplicitous SNP try to use the result as leverage to for Indy 2 is no surprise,it does however paint large the lack of democracy SNP politics.

We voted to remain in the UK,a position the SNP disrespect,We vote to leave the EU which surprise, surprise the SNP government disrespect.
    Lord help democracy in Scotland.

My MP is Angela Crawley. The majority of her consituents voted remain.

I'd hope, because of this, she will vote remain at a vote in parliament.

The majority of Ken Clarkes consituents voted remain. He should vote remain.

The UK operates a first past the post electoral system. I'll be quite happy if every MP votes as their consituents wanted.
