  • SNP MPs began singing Scots Wha Hae - considered by the party to be the alternative national anthem

Just when you think Scots can't appear any more foolish, they reveal that they all know a little tune called - I'm not making this up - "Scots Wha Hae". Which is "considered by the party to be the alternative national anthem".

The theme from Teletubbies would surely be a better fit to nationalists' gravitas?

Isn’t there a law in Scotland that stops embarrassing cultural appropriation like this?

  • Is now possibly the best opportunity England will have of getting rid of the whinging spongers in midgeland ?

I would accept the referendum proposal but make it national so England Wales and northern Ireland all get a vote

According to the BBC "Late into the night, MPs also burst into song on the Commons benches, singing traditional Welsh and Scottish songs, Labour anthem Red Flag and hymns like Jerusalem."

And all without drink involved or was it a true 'lock in'??
