Govey could be going for the lucrative North England votes here.

Maybe it's not so stupid. That's a lot of votes (we can forget Labour coming back anytime soon).

Allegedly EasyJet have been in touch with the EU to start arrangements for moving their headquarters out of the UK ... if this is true ... the exodus begins....

Some of the comments on the Sky News article from people who presumably voted Leave:
If they move simply boycott them, plus if they do move when the EU collapses which it will dont let them back in the UK again
We should make it very clear desert the uk for economic reasons we will hit you with tariffs to make you less competitive against them who stay loyal to the uk we should reward loyalty and punish disloyalty simple
hope easy jet are happy to loose lots of business over this....there were 17 million brexiters and tho you might loose money staying in a non E.U. U.K. it is nothing compared with what they will loose by not backing Britain...at the best they will have to seriously reduce fares...i for one would not use em if they bug out on the U.K.
We should make it very clear to any company thinking of deserting the uk they will be hit hard with dutys making it easier for other companies loyal to the uk to be better priced then them
If they move just boycott Easy Jet!

    Simples!

It would be hugely popular across the whole of England. I think its no coincidence that the countries (England and Wales) that are doing less well as regards per capita funding were the ones that opted for Brexit.
Scotland has largely escaped the austerity that England has suffered, a reduction in the over generous block grant that Scotland enjoys would be wholly justified on moral grounds if nothing else.

Do you think it's a coincidence that our most prosperous cities voted Remain?

    No, wholly understandable.
I heard the Brexit vote described as an English 'Peasants Revolt' last night. Perhaps Gove`s alleged comments on Barnett are linked to that. There`s certainly votes in England now in being anti-Scots nationalist.

most english support their scottish neighbours no anyone but the english, down south

concern of fairness and more equality in the block grant should be something we all support

Meanwhile, Michael Gove hints at axing the Barnett formula.

Still, as Shakey has always said, you didn't want it anyway. ;)

A hangdog expression when they have to explain to "Ma'am" that they have "Lorst Scotland".
