The topical discussion for this thread is about all things Scotland.
Whilst I am Scottish, the thread should not be about me. I know you'll respect that

Eh?
You changed it from being that long ago.
Now some of us (unlike you it seems) have REAL work.
Not just time posting repeated tired rubbish on internet forums, clogging up threads.
Have a lovely rest of your day tapping away.0 -

Ok, it was an example, but since you debunked the myth, how about the opportunity to adjust the taxes on alcohol.
Can Scotland adjust the taxes on Alcohol to aid the industry to be more competitive?:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

On taxes decided by the UK there is no reason why they could not be.

Scotland wont be leaving, the UK is likely to get a free trade deal just as Brexiteers said day one;
Mr Barnier said the EU wants the negotiations with the UK to succeed.
"We will need to negotiate a 'bold and ambitious', but fair, free-trade agreement," he said.

That's not the same thing as being in the single market - it's significantly less than the access we have today.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

NOT an answer.
Lets try a different thought.
Could Scotland attract more businesses to Scotland (thus increase exports) by reducing corporation tax?:wall:

Are you really having such difficulty with this concept?Has it asked if it can?

IF the reduction was asked for.
It is indeed an answer.
If it has not been asked for and a response given, how else would we know the answer?0
