Jam sandwiches. It's what we used to be fed.
    Bread, jam. Job done.
No moaning or that's snatched from you.

    :)

Love it, my upbringing was much like that, although little ones aren't eating at the moment as they're too full of snot and colds :(

maybe it is not the best time to be trying to get them to eat new stuff then. My brother went through a marmalade sandwich phase - I am sure he ate other things but not much - for about a year but he survived and is now a strapping 6'2".
    toast is good comfort food

They are really good generally, love most fruit and veg and pizza and Pasta and roasts etc it's just if everything is all together they get a bit funny!! We ended up with freezer sausages, beans and chips for dinner, but they ate it all, so I'm pleased they've actually eaten somethings, a decent amount for the first time in about a week and a half, I'm trying to forget about the feet it was sausage and chips! . May has connunctivitis and the most awful cough. Poor thing, and Roo is still getting over flu and is exhausted.

I am still wading through my freezer store and have saved quite a bit by just making do with whats in there and not buying more.

Since Christmas when it was chockablock its now down so there is a small gap at the top of each box,I have a long way to go still but along with my tinned food mountain I will hopefully get things down to a reasonable level by maybe July :):):)Great for my food budget purse though as I have cash left over at the end of every month which goes into my holiday fund account

Tempt them on milky porridge with a dollop of jam in the middle! Nutritious and delicious at the same time.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Thanks for that, they do love porridge! I do too for that matter.

Well done on your freezer challenge JackieO! Mine doesn't seem to be going down just yet!
