Ok more feedback from me, as stated last 2 weeks been exhausted to point of sleeping 10-13 hours a day and feeling hungover after I got over virus (then a cold)
I tried a cocodamol a few days ago and got a good nights sleep and whilst I still slept like 11 hours I got up without instantly blacking out again like the other days.
I wanted to get up early today on a day off and took one last night, still slept 10 hours but again just jumped out of bed (did stir a little but it was more that I woke at 9 and wanted it to be 9.30, then closed eyes and woke up and it was 10.30)
I think its actually a mix of sleep apnea and stress, the painkiller relaxed me enough so I didn't wake during night/toss and turn so when I woke up in morning despite the groggy side effect of the tablet I felt far more refreshed than a normal nights sleep.
But as I said a few pages ago I don't like the idea of taking them due to the high addiction rate.0 -

The 'do' is next week. I'm still fighting to concentrate on what to write for my 5 minutes. I've got a costume together.
I've also signed up to FaceCloth and found a weight loss group run by a comedian/singer. It's made me realise I've still got 3 stone 7 pounds to lose to get down to my 'proper' weight.
The meds for the ADHD should supress my appetite but, of course, I'm so used to eating when I'm not hungry, I haven't lost any weight since starting them.
Still looking for a part time job that doesn't interfere with my courses. Keeping my eyes peeled.
Just to say that despite that 'side effect' being listed, I have never ever found that it depressed my appetite.(I just lurve spiders!)

I've got a sponsored walk on Sunday.
I've got no one to sponsor me.
I've also got the 'thing', where I do that thing on Thursday. I've ordered 3 tickets.
I know two might show up.
That's mainly the reason why I'm going to lessons, choir and neighbourhood forums.
I need friends. Not more friends. Friends. <sigh> Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Juanita dogs are wonderful and I think it's great your son has got one.
I would definitely speak to your GP about getting Liam a referral to a counsellor. It's not fair that a child can end up ostracised if he has behaviour problems, they should do more to help you. Keep strong and know you can always talk here ((hugs))0 -
I made a list of things I had to get done today..
I then forgot to take the list with me. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
That's the sort of thing I'd do. Phoned parent this morning to ask her what plants I'd bought a couple of weeks ago, as I hadn't got a clue.
Took Gitdog to agility again this morning. As we arrived I heard a voice say "here comes the entertainment." :rotfl:All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Awww, hugs to all who need them - ono you are so right, this too will pass xxxx
Juanita, lovely to hear from you. I have a v g friend who has JUST been diagnosed with autism. Her blog memories of being at school sound very like your son - her blog is MASSIVE but if you are interested is at 'finally knowing me' - just search for that. She got it on her medical records as a child that she was violent due to a meltdown at a swimming pool (and has only just been diagnosed at the age of 45).
Try contacting your local council for voluntary services (google nacvs and find your local one) and ring them and ask them what voluntary sector services or support groups there are in your area. (Edit - it looks more complicated than I thought, but start at http://www.justact.org.uk/category/step-1-find-out-whats-already-happening/ )Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
